Would like to know which port the cruise ship will dock and where we can go on shore for some activities, etc.

Okay, so I have relavtives in Bratislava. I already tried to extend my ultimate european trip but I cannot do so without extensive penalties. So I was thinking about skipping over Bulgaria and/or Romania. Is anyone familiar with times that we get to these destinations? Or does anyone know how to travel out of these areas? Please let me know ASAP.

Does anyone know how close to the airports the two hotels are? Also, we are supposed to provide our own transportation from airport to hotel so what is usually the best and cheapest mode of transportation to and from these airports? I asked the people at Contiki and they said that there are usually trolleys that come and go from the airport and to the hotels, but without knowing which hotel it is or the schedule or where to catch the trolley, this information is next to useless. Plus, I will be arriving in Sydney at about 6:30AM which for trollies I’m familiar with is before they start for the day.
Any helpful insights are appreciated, as always.

Hey, my name is colton and im planning on going to a music festival wither isle of wight, reading, or if I can find a ticket to glastonbury and then doing a contiki tour, im traveling solo all my friends are too cheap some im looking to hopefully find some other people maybe doing or interested in doing something simular.

Hi guys,
I’m planning to join the European Horizon tour this first week of September. I am currently applying for a Schengen Visa here in Canada since I’m not yet a Canadian citizen. Does anyone know which consulate I should apply for the visa? Should I apply to the French or German Consulate. I’m really confused right now cause different people have been saying different things. Thanks.

im going on a concept tour of britain and ireland in may with my partner and was wondering if contiki will split us when it comes to hotel rooms…. is it strictly boys with boys and girls with girls or can we stay paired together?? just curious…

If contiki changes your Itinerary and adds/removes dates and changes the price, while still listing your tour dates, does that reflect your tour if it was booked prior to the changes or only new bookings?

i’m doing the 5 day check out london tour before my tour i was just wondering if anybody has done this recently, it states that theatre tickets are included i was wondering what show this is to or do we have a choice of what contiki has on offer, any info would be great

My in-laws use their credit card for nearly everything & just wondering whether or not we would be able to use the points to get cheaper flights even though the card is in their name? How much cheaper would the flights be? Any other info would be greatly appreciated!

I’m sure someone at some point has posted this before, but I thought I would throw it up again anyway. For all of you with laptops, Iphones or anything wifi, finding a hotspot in Europe can sometime be tough. This website should be able to help you out. Enjoy.

hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what optionals are avaliable on the Euro Highlights trip and how much each of them cost.. im thinking of going next year and i need to know how much to save i want to do all the optionals possible because after reading the discussions it seems like they are great fun!

Hello ! My partner and I are planing to do a trip next year most prob the camping tour. I would just love some advice on the tours as I have read lots of bad reviews. Has anyone done a contiki and a top deck and could ne one give me advice on which ones beter.thankyou

Hi guys, we need to be at LAX for our flight around 4ish in the morning and want to know the best way to get there.
I’ve seen there is a supershuttle but that doesnt start until 6am. I was considering the train, but is that safe? Otherwise we are looking at about $80-$90 for a taxi, is that right?

I am doing the escapade in October 07 and just want to see if anyone has done this tour and whether you liked it or not, am going by myself and never been overseas so this is all new so the more advice I receive the better!!! A question to anyone knowledgeable about the GB & SI tour. I’m just going for the SI leg of the tour, and my flight is arriving mid-morning for the pre-departure day that we spend in Dublin. I was wondering if anyone knows a) around what time the Montrose will let you check in or b) if I can/should call ahead to request an early check in. I really don’t want to be lugging my suitcase around with me when I’m exploring the city that morning!

Hey,
I’m doing LA Explorer then LA to the Bay…Is the Super Shuttle the best way to get from LAX to the Kyoto Grand Hotel? What have other people done to get from the airport to the hotel?
I looked on google maps and it said it was about 1hour 30mins away, so I’m thinking a cab would be too pricey. Any other ideas or ways people have gone? When I looked on the website, it said it cost like $16 for the Super Shuttle, which I think is good.

Is there a winter packing list on Contikipedia? I can’t seem to find it if there is?
If not, Can anyone who’s been on a winter Europe tour recommend what I def should be taking with me.
I’m doing the Euro Magic tour, so it’s not a v long tour (9 days ) over Dec-Jan.
