Hey guys!
I was wondering if u could help me. Im going on the european inspiration trip from 12th april-30th april ’08 and i have no idea how much spending money to take. If anyone has already been on this trip and has some good advice or people who are plannng on going on it know how much they are taking that would be great!

Just did some searching and looking back at the tour I chose… They are all different dates for 2008 with different prices? Are contiki offering these dates as well?

I’m thinkin of going on the Ultimate European in Ausgust, so as to be in Munich for the Oktoberfest. Can any one tell me what the weathers like then?!?!

I apologize if this is a stupid question, or if it has already been answered (I can’t find the answer!):
I am flying directly to Athens for the Spotlight on Greece tour, then flying to London for European Inspiration tour. I understand that my bag must be certain dimensions and a certain weight and that my bag will be weighed at the Contiki Basement in London. However, I’m not too clear about how / where my bag will be weighed when I arrive in Athens for the Spotlight in Greece tour. Will it be weighed in Athens at all, or only when I get to London?

My friends and I will be in Europe for the European Inspiration this winter (December 14-Jan 5). Any advice for things we need to take, weather to expect, etc.?
Also, how strict is Contiki about our carry on. It seems that it should be something like a backpack or the like. Is this other’s experience?

Hi there! I am doing the Winter Wanderer tour over Christmas this year and was wondering about any celebrations that may (or may not!) happen on Christmas Day. Is there usually something planned by Contiki or is it up to my tour buddies and I to organise some sort of festivities?
I would love to hear from others who have been in Europe over Christams and find out what you did.

Hey guys,
I’ve been having a look on this site and in my contiki information book, but can’t find anywhere that gives me an estimate of how many people are on tour (average).
Obvisouly sometimes there maybe more people and other times less (due to demand) but what are the maximum amount of people you will have on your tour? What is the average amount of European Contrasts – Aug/Sep/Oct?
If I’ve overlooked something painfully obvious, please let me know and close this.

we are off on the european encounter trip in january, and are wondering if skiing/snowboarding in an option while we are visiting?

im 18 turning 19 later this yr…planning on going to europe solo next yr (2008)…im pumped…this questions probably been asked a million times but was just wondering what tour do most people of my age 18 – 21 mainly go on?

I’m booked to go on the European Discovery on the 16th of January and my documents arrived at my travel agents last week.When I was picking them up my travel agent said that it should be a guaranteed departure now that it has been ticketed. Does anyone know if this is true?
It’s just that it seems really early for it to be guaranteed departure and I didn’t think they guaranteed winter tours. Also it’s not ticked as a guaranteed departure on the dates and rates page.
If anyone can clear this up for me I’d be heaps grateful as it would be one less thing to stress about

Hey everyone, i’m doing the london-athens contiki leaving may 29th by myself and was just wondering (from people’s past experiences) how many people end up travelling around after their tour? My tour is a 21 day tour and i’ve got about 12 days left after my tour to travel around by myself, i haven’t quite decided where i want to go yet but i was wondering how many people end up travelling with their fellow contiki friends that they meet on their tour? So just seeing if i should start booking accomodation etc or wait to see who i meet on tour! Cheers Cath

OK so so so sorry if this is a repeat question. BUT IF….I am going on the European Whirl as far as I can tell I need not only Euro but Pounds while I am in London…Will I need any other currencies?

Can anyone tell me how I can get back to Los Angels after finishing the Western Highlight tour? Wonder if there’s a shuttle bus or something??

My husband and I want are interested in the Tuscany tour because you are able to do some of the out of the ordinary guided tour activities. For example, the bicycle ride through the countryside and wine tasting, etc. But we like the length of the Simply Italy tour and some of the places you get to go see. Has anyone been on either of these and does anyone have any advice?

I got my contiki wallet this week and measured my suitcase to make sure it would be within the guidelines, but it’s a couple of centimetres bigger each way than the measurements contiki gave.
Is this a big deal? I don’t want to take it and then find out it is!
