My friend and I are considering doing the Egypt trip May 22nd. She’s worried that it might be too hot at that time of year. Unfortunately, it’s the only time we can go. We are both from Florida so we’re used to heat, but she’s not too fond of being smothered by it.
I think since it’s still spring it won’t be too bad but I’m not sure. Is it still okay at that time of year? If she dresses lightly and brings a handheld fan or an umbrella for shade will it combat the weather a bit?
Thanks guys!!

So I am looking around Mid July 2008- August 2008 sometime to go back to Europe for my second time ever. It is also going to be my first Contiki trip if I take it (most probably yes). The 2 trips I am really looking at are European Inspiration and European Vista. I chose those two because they are superior class trips and I like staying in the city. So my question is are there any 18-21 year old girls or guys that are going to maybe be on one of those trips around then? I will be 19 then so, I am just curious. Thanks!

Hi there,
Just wondering if you guys could help me out. I’m doing the Wild Western Tour and wondering what time does the tour end (and if its upon arrival in Anaheim at the Best Western Inn). Reason being I wanted to book a flight out of LA on that night and I think in the US I have to check 3 hours earlier. Also, is it approximately a 50 minute trip from Best Western to LAX airport.
Your help is much appreciated, Cheers, Lan

Hey
Okay, I’ll be doing my UE tour before I start on my GIH tour. The first tour I will have approx less than two days in Athens. So, I do get a chance to see all the main attractions.
Now, I’m thinking of visiting Delphi for the ancient Temple of Apollo for a 1 day tour.
Has anyone done this before?? Is it worth visiting Delphi?? Is there any other places near Athens thats worth looking? ![]()
Any suggestions would be awsome.

Hi
I’m going to go on the Grand Explorer this year but I can’t decide what time of the year to go.
I want to do all of the optionals plus a bit of snow sports. I’m worried if I go in July / August it will be too cold.
All suggestions / comments welcome!!!

I have a question for any people who have been on the London/Paris or London/Paris/Rome tours. I noticed that on one of the nights in London, the itinerary states that you will see a musical in London’s West End. Do you get to choose what to see and is the cost already covered through Contiki? If anyone has been on a recent trip, what musicals was Contiki offering. I would appreciate more info on this! Thanks in advance!

I am taking the 46 day camping trip to Europe, but will be in Europe for about 54 days because we are taking our own trip to Ireland before our tour begins.
I am currently shopping for a suitcase large enough to hold clothes, souvenirs, etc for the 46 day trip- does anyone recommend a brand of suitcase? I would love some input. Thanks!

I’m looking for the best one. I haven’t heard too much about the Rome to Athens trip and what I did hear wasn’t that good. Any suggestions from people who have been on either of the three would be great. Looking to go around first week of august.

Hey Im an Aussie, and I have spent ages looking for tickets online to these that dont cost the earth or require a US address. Can anyone tell me where I might find somewhere to book them other than a travel agent.
Also can I see and enjoy either or both in 1 day? I have limited time

Hi There.
I’m looking at a few different European tours, for example: the ‘European Escapade’, ‘Euro Experience’, ‘Euro Whirl’. And I’m really not sure who much spending money I will need to take. I’m not a shopaholic but I would like to purchase a few things. Can anyone give me an idea on a day to day basis. Most of the trips I’m looking at range from 14-25 days.
Thanks for your help!
Christine.
