Was just wondering if anyone is joining the Ski Austria leaving London on the 12th of Feb 2010?
I’m coming all the way from South Africa by myself, so excited and nervous at the same time.

I was just wondering if anyone who has already been on a European trip with Contiki has brought the contiki document wallet with them to carry around or just put the documents into one of their other bags and left the wallet at home. Is the document wallet durable enough to be used as a purse or around the neck/under clothing like a security wallet? Would I be better off leaving it at home and buying a second money belt (I already bought one for the gentleman that I’m traveling with)? Just trying to save a little money. Thanks

Hi,
I am wanting to go to NZ next year but i am having trouble choosing between the Grand Adventurer & the Grand Explorer! Can anyone tell me the main difference between the two?
I am also looking at going around September/November, is this a good time to go?
Any opions greatly appreciated

Can anyone tell me the dress code for the above two place for MEN…..??
I have read that Jeans are not acceptable night wear in eroupe is that the case everywhere…. clubs & pubs etc etc ?

Hi, What are the most common extra tours that poeple do on the scenic southern tour? I am doing it on the 17th to the 23rd of March. I will probably do the funyaks, Jetboat and maybe the maddog boarding. I will be tight for cash just wondering which ones, out of all of them, are good to do and which are the most commonly chosen ones.

Just wondering if theres anyone who knows what hotels we stay in for the LA to the Bay tour, im booked on that one Feb 20th 2008, just wanted to check them out on the net before I get over there. If anyone knows the hotels or where I can find a list as I dont think the brochure lists all of them. That’d be great. Thanks

I’m doing Ultimate European in a few months time and this year they’ve changed the Greece part to do Island hopping which sounds awesome. Just wondering if anyone has done Ultimate Euro yet and how they found this part of the tour. I’m sure it will be great I’m just interested and like hearing what other people thought.

since i couldn’t find a contiki tour that went to portugal, i’m going there on my own after. i’m a bit confused when it comes to the transportation system there. i’m flying into lisbon airport on june 6, right after my tour is over. is anyone there there? or has anyone traveled to lagos from lisbon before and know the best way to get there?

im doing egypt and the nile cruise in july of this year and im a little concerned on what is seen as being appropriate clothing in such a country. Ive been told from an egyptian friend to keep shoulders and knees covered at all times. Is this correct? any other tips?
and also, for anyone having been on this tour, what kind of shoes would you recommend, seeing as its going to be the middle of summer over there!!!

My friend and I are doing the Grand Southern in August this year and was wondering the best way to handle the money situation. Is it best bring cash or use travellers cheques or just have a credit card??

Hey again! Just wondering which bungy everyone thinks is the best to do? I can probably only afford one. and also, if i’m running out of money, are the bungys better than the ledge swing or canyon swing? or if the weathers ok should i just put it all towards a sky dive instead? cos i noticed the video/photos are real expensive for that too. Thanks again!
p.s. these forums are the best idea hey! so handy and great to hear what people who’ve been think about everything.

Hi all,
I’ve been reading quite a few bad reviews on the Marrakech Hotel in NY (the Contiki one).
What’s everyone’s opinion on this hotel? Does anyone know of other places around the same price which might be nicer?
We’re staying in NY for 3 nights before the GS tour starts (31st October) & would like something comfortable since we’ll need to adjust the body clock etc.
