Hey all.. I’m going for the European Inspiration and am wondering how the weather is like in Italy, France, Britain, Switzerland and Germany in end of November to mid-December.. Also has anyone gone on this tour in the winter time?

Hey, I’m not heading away until summer 2010 to Europe, but looking through the brochure and seeing everyone all nicely straightened and frizz-free hair, just wondering what you girls do? Chances are I’ll chop it shorter before I go… Straightening my hair everyday is possibly ridiculous, not to mention – are all the plugs the same across Europe?

hi guys
i was interested in hearing from people who have done both a concept and time out tour and to hear whether forking out extra for the hotels was worth it? and whether they were closer to the city centres in comparison with the concept tour accomodation?
also, what is offered for breakfast on contiki? i read somewhere that a bread roll with jam was the usual??? I hope there is a bit mroe variety than that!

Transport unions said Friday they called a 24-hour nationwide transport strike, set to begin at 9 p.m. (2000 GMT) Sunday. Some long-distance service and some regional trains used mainly by commuters will be guaranteed on morning and evening rush hours.
The strike was called to put pressure on national transport union contract renewal talks.

Hi, i am hoping to do the grandsouthern tour next year sometime. Just wondering if anyone has been there during summer break and if its really as bad as people keep telling me. i understand the theme parks are going to be full, but everyone keeps telling us to just forget going between June and Sept?? Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks renee

Hey, I am 22 yrs old, and planning to take the spanish Spree tour with Contiki> It will be my first time as well as many of my friends who I am trying to get to come-I researched all the tours offered, and found this one of Spain stops in most cities and areas and includes Ibiza which is a Bonus-My question is-is it worth going with Contiki-or independently? Alot of my friends who attend school find the tours to be really pricy-but then this is Europe, and does include lots- Another question is what month is best to take this tour? I am sending out invitations to my friends which will be in regards to this tour, and they can pass it on to anyone they want to invite and so on so I can gather a fun group in coming-I do believe it will be everyones first time doing a group tour to Europe-We’re all between 22-27yrs of age-Please help me with your opinions-

Hi, I will be in Anaheim a couple of days before my tour starts and was wondering what else can you do besides go to Disneyland and that is close by the Best Western?

I’m going to be in london this saturday (9/25)and was looking to hit up a club before my tour starts on tuesday. I am traveling solo from the U.S. but I hear great things about the clubs there.
Wondering if anyone has gone to a club in london and can make some reccomendations. I’ve been reading online and the ones reccomended were:
-Ministry of sound
-The egg
-Fabric
-Pacha
Please advise if you have any experience, thanks

How much do alcoholic drinks cost approximately? Are they outrageously expensive, or is 10-15 euros good for one night? I’m doing the European Horizon tour in May!

I’m heading off on the grand northern tour in august and i was just wondering whether or not there are laundromats available throughout the tour, where is convenient and the best time to do laundry? Bit stupid i no and i plan on buying quite a few things there but was curious

Hey guys me and my Brother are on the Indochina adventure 12dec, and the travel agencies says we should get our vietnam visa before we leave and not to worry about laos and cambodia as we can get them on arrival.. is that correct ?
And does any 1 know what the $370US local payment is used for ?

After my Contiki tour I have a full extra free day in Athens and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what to do?
I’ll have already spent the entire day befor at the Acropolis and Plaka. I was considering the one day Saronic Criuse www.greecetravel.com/cruise/saroniccruise

I’m doing the Euro Magic tour, anyone else going?
I will be in Switzerland around the 22nd Sept & doing the Lake Lucerne cruise, I was wondering how cold it will be that time of year, I don’t want to overpack with Winter clothing then again I don’t want to be ice cold!
I’m packing mostly summer gear for the rest of the tour?!

I am doing the Grand Southern starting 5th July, but I fly into LAX on the 4th and arrive there around 8.30pm…any advice on how to get to Anaheim from there? I am staying in the hotel we leave from in the morning

My tour starts on Sept. 5th and ends on the 13th. I was wondering if I should fly out the day before it starts and if the tour ends the morning of the 13th?

I’m looking at doing the European Adventurer on May 10th 2011 but at the moment all the departures for next year are preview departures.
Does anyone know how long it takes until some 2011 dates will start becoming definite departures? How does the process work? Are lots of previews offered and then the most popular ones become definite or are they all likely to run? I want to start planning but don’t want to bank on something that isn’t going to come through…
