I’m looking at doing the European Adventurer on May 10th 2011 but at the moment all the departures for next year are preview departures.
Does anyone know how long it takes until some 2011 dates will start becoming definite departures? How does the process work? Are lots of previews offered and then the most popular ones become definite or are they all likely to run? I want to start planning but don’t want to bank on something that isn’t going to come through…

My tour starts on Sept. 5th and ends on the 13th. I was wondering if I should fly out the day before it starts and if the tour ends the morning of the 13th?

Hi all, I’ve been searching these forums for alist of the Superior and Budget tours but did not find them! If anyone has a direct link to these that would be great… Anyways just wondering if the London/Paris 8 day tour is superior or budget and also the Simply Italy which type is that? I’m hoping they are both superior!!!! Also i’ve booked both tours as single rooms etc and I get my docs tomorrow does that mean i’ve def secured myself a single room in all hotels???

I’ll be doing the "Dive to Adventure Tour" on 29 of July and the "Rainforest Adventure" on 3 of August.
I am travelling alone so i hope to meet some people.
These are my first Contiki-Tours.
Who else will be doing one of this tours?
Do you have some tips for me?

Hey,
I am doing the (reverse) Adventurer leaving Christchurch on Dec 30th so will be on the Milford Sound cruise for New Years’. Has anyone done this and can you tell me whether much happens on the boat as I think I may have read that the bar shuts up early there – is this right?
Not that I’m a raging alcoholic, but it has got me wondering

I see a lot of people posting what the differences are between time out & concept tours, but I was just wondering where on the site it says which tour is which? Take for example Med Highlights… how do I know which tour this is?

Can someone please help me , i am trying to figure out the most cheapest and easy was to get from athens to amsterdam and then to london. My aim is not to spend a whole lot of money and i only have around 10 days Pleasee help. ????

I would like to book Grand Adventurer in Feb 07.
Was wondering whether to start at Auckland or ******church??
Can anyone who been on this tour tell me the difference?
I’m hoping to start this trip with everyone thus I’m afraid missing out the Bay of island part might end up isolated from the others.

I’m doing the Cairns and the Sunshine Trail (reverse) in August, arriving 2-3 days before the tour starts. I’ll be getting my open water certification by then, and wondering how much diving I should do during the trip. What have other divers done? At max I’ll be able do it once before the tour starts, once as an optional in Cairns, once in Whitsundays. It’s hard to gage how much I’ll want to do it down there since as of now I’ve never done it before.
If you think I should do it as much as possible, should I book the pre-tour dive with a different company than pro-dive, so it won’t go to the same spot?
Any advise is appreciated!

Hi,
My friend and i are going to book ourselves on the grand southern tour in Dec but cannot decided where to start from.
The NY to LA is a preferred departure and we would get to see NY all done up for christmas, however we would like to start in LA because there is so much we want to do there, for example, Universal studios, disneyland etc and we don’t really want to be tired from our contiki trying to do these things afterwards.
Does anyone have any advise on which place is the best to start/end with at this time of year, thanks Leesa and Lisa.

My plane is landing at Gatwick Airport and not Heathrow. Is there a tube going to Royal National Hotel from Gatwick? If none, what are the other ways to go to the hotel? Thanks.

Please! Advice is more than welcome. Here’s the situation. I have one window of opportunity to visit the Vatican Museum on Sat. June 16. I won’t get down there until noon (no earlier!). Is it possible to get in before the line closes at 12:30. Any techniques or other ways I can get in? Anything is welcome!

Hello All,
I’m flying out in 1 week for the European Panorama and I’m debating over taking along a winter coat/jacket that I bought last time I was in France. Its fairly thin, its warm and its water proof with a hood.
Based on the weather forecasts will it be worth the size in my bag verses the layering people are talking about?

Hi, Im thinking of going on a tour next year, by myself. My biggest worry has been about not knowing anyone but I have just found this forum so Im not so worried anymore!
Can anyone offer any advice about the best tour to go on for a first timer – for 2 to 3 weeks?
I want to go for a fun time, but also want to do lots of sightseeing… are there certain tours that are just for partying and some for mainly sightseeing??
Any help would be great

I am planning a trip to Alice & Uluru (9-14 mar) & will be flying in from Singapore. What’s the best way to get to Alice SPrings?
All of the international flights go to Adelaide, Darwin or Perth. So I need a transfer. Is a connecting flight the way to go (they r exp!)? Any other alternatives? I’ll be traveling solo, with a suitcase. any advice?

Hi All.
I’m planning on doing one of the european tours (escapade / contrasts) in either April or early May. My concern is that because it is early in the season the weather may not be the best and/or there may not be so many people on the tour. I’m looking for a massive party so great weather and lots of people are always good.
If anyone can advise here that would be great.

Hey…
Im doing Wild Western and Big Apple Explorer in a little over 2 weeks! Yay!! And was just wondering if the hotels that we stay at have laundrys in them so we can do washing?… Ive never been overseas before nor have I done a contiki… And also what is the weathe rgoing to be like?… So I know what to expect! If anyone has any info please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated… Can hardly wait for the trip!
