Hey,
4 of my friends and I were thinking of going on one of the New Zealand tours, but seeing as its just after finishing high school, one of us is still 17 (the rest of us are 18).
I was wondering if they are allowed to go or if they have to be over 18.

OK, so I found the 16-day camping tour on here, which excites me because it’s the only Contiki tour that goes to Belgrade and Sarajevo.
So I look in my brochure book….no camping trips. On the web site: NO information on what kind of camping this is. I mean, is this camping in the woods in tents? Do I need to bring my own tent? Will I be cooking food over an open fire? Will I be foraging for berries in the woods? Will I not shower for 16-days and be stinky?
Anybody?
Sorry. I live in Florida. Due to bugs, snakes, and gators, we don’t camp here.
P.S. I just heard gun shots really nearby. Life in the ghetto.

Hello everyone
I’m new to the whole travelling thing and i’m staying at the Base Backpackers in Christchurch for two nights before my tour starts. Has anyone stayed there? Does anyone have any ‘stayin at a backpackers’ tips i should know? Like, how do you set your alarm, do people get pissed off if you wake them all up? That kind of thing. Also, I’ve got a bed in the Sanctuary, is it good? Is it far to Bealeys? Would i be able to walk there, or is it strictly cab it?

I’ve read that the Check Out London and London & Paris tours include tickets to a West End show. Would we get to choose the show we would want to watch, or are the tix for a pre-determined show? And also do we get to choose which day we would want to watch it?

Hey there!
So my friend and I (both 25/F) are looking to book Med Highlights but are a bit unsure. Has anyone gone on it or planning on going? Our fear is that we will mostly be around couples on this specific trip and if thats the case we would rather save it for when were married haha.
We want to go on a fun (I’ll be spending my 26th in Europe 
but not too crazy of a trip. If anyone has any advice or feedback please share, as well as similar 2 wk trip suggestions.

Just thought I’d let people know that instead of buying say a Europe adapter and a UK one (+ those of any other country you may be visiting!) you can get an adapter that converts to anywhere in the world – it will save you from carrying more than one. So far I’ve only found them on Ebay, but I’m sure if you looked hard enough you’d be able to find them in other places

Hi there. My name is Gina and I’m really interested in going on the European Experience Spring of 2007. I have looked into the itinerary but I have a few more questions to ask. I thought by asking other travelers who have had the experience would let me know their first hand experience.
I’m wondering if you are with the tour guide person all the time, and if so do you have to go with them everywhere, or you can go to places on your own. I’m 25, and I’m planning on travelling by myself, and I definitely want to meet new friends and go on excursions by myself but don’t want to be attached to the group at all times. It seems like everything is organized really well which I like. I know it probably depends on the tour but is there a lot of ’free time?" Also, at night are you free to fgo to clubs, bars, etc.?
If there are other concerns you think I should know of feel free to respond.

Hi guys,
I’m flying into LAX on November 25 and my connect flight to New York leaves one hour and twenty minutes later. I’m a little nervous of making the connect on time. Will this be enough time and any tips on how to speed up the process?

Hi. I am going on the Egypt & the Nile tour in September. Can anyone tell me how much time is spent at the Egyptian Meseum? Of course, I want to see King Tut’s throne and that collection and also the Mummy room. Do you see that on the tour, or should I go on my own. I arrive 1 day b4 tour starts, and I am trying to plan my time. Thanks for ANY input. Lauren

When I am in London I have been told not to miss out on the Jack the Ripper tour. Just wondering if anyone has done one of these tours before or has any feeddback on them. I tried to research it on the net but there is about 10 different companies. Not sure which ones are legit. ANy help!!

Just booked grand exlplorer for 8th feburary 2008 departure…
i was wondering what an average number of participants for the grand explorer would be? And if there is a set minimum number of people for a tour before it is cancelled?
