Hi all
I’ll be travelling to Europe for the first time during the above dates and not sure what the weather is going to be like. If someone knows Europe pretty well or have been on the European Inspiration during these months please get back to me on what type of clothes should I bring and what kind of weather I should expect.
Cheers!!

Hi Everyone,
Ok, firstly i planned to do a European 29day Contrast tour – concept style July next year 2009 as my boss used to sell contiki and highly recommended it. Although since then i’ve been looking at the 45 day Ultimate European Tour which includes option of Egypt or Greek Islands – concept style. It really doing my head in about choosing which one. The way i look at it, im really only likely to travel europe once . . .so i’m not worried about money aspects and want to make the most of my trip as it will be a life long memory. Although im getting very mixed reviews people say even at 29 days you will get sick and tired of packing your stuff and living out of a bad and get really tired and drained. Will 45 days be way to long . . .you get to see much more i.e more of greece, and even a bit of eastern europe. What does everyone recommend is it too long?? And would you take the 8 day Egypt option or the 8 day Greek Island Option ??? Help Help Help ![]()

Hi all,
I’m going on Mediterranean Highlights starting Sept 29 in Madrid. I’d really like to take in a soocer game and it looks like my best chance will be Fiorentino vs Juventus on Oct 7 in Florence. I’d rather not buy tickets in advance – do these games normally sell out?

So I’ve been reading all the posts concerning what to lock up in the room during the day and what to bring with you during the day – but what about at night? If hotels aren’t safe to put valuables (I am bringing an expensive camera with changable lenses) then do you bring them with you when you go out?
Please help!
Thanks!

Hey all!
I’m going on the grand adventurer from the 18th ot 30th of Jan 2007. Is anybody else on this tour.
Just wanted to ask what the atmosphere is like. I’m not a huge partier or drinker but do like to have a good time. Are there people who just go out to clubs and that some nights and maybe do other things on other nights. I would like to go out some nights and have some drinks and maybe chill out on some others. Is it like everyobdy has a hangover the next day? Anyway, I definitely want to go out and have fun, just wanted to see if there are a good mix of people to blend in with.
Hope to see some of you in NZ. Can’t wait.

I noticed in the 2009 / 10 brochure that next to departure dates only some trips start and or end in Anaheim. I’ve done 3 tours before which inlcuded LA and all started or finished in Anaheim. Has this changed? Do the tours now start or finish in LA itself instead of Anaheim? Does anyone know why? I liked the Best Western in Anaheim, maybe its location and distance from LA is why?
Also when are the brochures for 2010 / 11 due out at travel agents? I’ve been to a few and they keep telling me its close but its been a couple weeks and its still now out yet.
Thanks ![]()

I’m going on the California Highlights trip that leaves Vegas on the 25th of June! Anyone else going?
I’m going to be in Vegas the day before, however I’m only 19 (in the UK this seems to be old enough to do most things but apparently not in the US
) So I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on what to do that doesn’t involve being 21? Also is this not being 21 thing going to effect my trip that much?
Cheers

im going over to europe next june (maybe late may) for 2-3 months and am really keen on doing a contiki tour for the experience.. i want to travel all around western europe however my friend who im going with is not keen on contiki through italy, france, germany etc as we want to spend longer there and she thinks its a waste that u only spend 2 days in each place so she is more keen on busabout (anyone got opinions on that)
so anyway im thinking now maybe i do a contiki before travelling through western europe and do the great britain/ireland one.. has anyone done it? whats it like? im 21 and like to party! but is this like all the other contiki tours or are the people older
any advice would be much appreciated!

Hey folks, am hoping you can help (especially Aussies who may have done this)…I have read a lot on here about the famous Contiki cough, and how it helps to take vitamins. My question is, are you actually ALLOWED to take vitamins on international flights? I have echinacea, garlic & horseradish, and multis…but can I take them with me? Do they have to be in my checked bag, or can I take some with me to take in the air? I would love some advice, as I have contacted customs and they can’t help. I fly tomorrow morning – argh!!
Thanks!
