So I remember reading that this year on the buses there will be outlets/powerpoints…. my roommate doesnt believe me and I cant seem to find anything on the webiste to show her proof, can anyone help me out?

Anyone been on the European Discovery tour in Oct? Just wondering what the temperature is like…and if any of the tourist sites were closed because of the low season etc…

Hey everyone,
its slowly getting closer to the big trip….. and i do mean slowly lol.
just a random thought, when we’re all out clubbing will we need our passports to get into clubs or can we just take our drivers licsence and use that as id?
whats the best thing to do? cause i really dont feel confortable taking my passport into clubs or what not.

I’ll be going from Cairns to Sydney for 2 weeks in July on the B&R and am wondering what the weather will be like. Basically wondering what to pack. I want to pack very light. I’m thinking a couple pairs of convertible pants/shorts, some tshirts, a couple long sleeve tshirts, swimsuit, pair of jeans. would that be fine?

Quick question? If you add Ckeck Out London to a tour, does the price of the tour include tickets to a West End show or are these sold separately. Just curious as this will affect whether or not I add this onto my tour. Thanks.

Hey! I was looking at staying extra nights on some of the tours and was wondering on some hotel/location help.
I was gonna stay at the contiki hotel in anaheim so i can do disney, newport etc but wanted to go into central LA and do the hollywood walk of fame, rodeo drive etc and wondered where to stay? I’ve heard that Hollywood isnt a nice place, but its near the attractions…so advice would be brill.
I was also gonna stay a few extra nights in Vegas and wanted to be on the strip…so again need nice budget hotels..im not expecting luxury at cheap prices, but since its Vegas it would be nice to live it up a little!!

What’s the difference between the Ulitmate European trips listed on the web site? Ones with plus Mykonos for about $5000 AUD and the other one is about $6750 AUD. They seem to visit the same places (except Mykonos) which is cheaper for some reason?

I am coming to australia next week, for a couple of weeks and I want to bring my camera. I wanted to find out though, what voltage is used in Australia. My camera battery charger uses 110v in Trinidad, where I’m from. What would I need to get to get my charger to work in Australia?? What does the plug look like?

My fiance and I have finally decided to go with the 18 day European Encounter we are very excited and have booked seats for May 18-2…We will not be doing the first two nights in London because we will be visiting with family and will just go on the tours from Holland all the way to France…But I was wondering what is the weather like in May?? what should I pack and how light should i pack?? I really want to be able to spend some money on souvieners but im worried that my suitcase won’t be big enough with all the clothes…Please help thanx….

We will be staying in Paris for 3 extra nights (Jan 27th – 30th) after our Contiki European Discovery Tour.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to stay in Paris that isn’t too expensive?(Somewhere that has private rooms if possible.)
Also do you think we have to reserve something in advance or could we wait until we arrive in Paris (we get there the evening of Jan 25th)?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I was settled on a tour, but it isn’t the tour I REALLY want to do. I want to do the European Highlights tour, but because of time restrictions with work, it’s gonna be hard. The issue is I can’t get 3 consecutive weekends off since I’m taking 2 weeks off.
I found one tour date for the EH tour that would work, but I would fly home from Amsterdam, getting in around 2.30 in the afternoon, then have to be at work the next morning at 7:00am and work 7 days before getting another day off. Am I being naive in believing this could be a possibility? Thanks!

This is the first time i’ve done something like this. I’ve paid a deposit for the europe trip, when do i get sent info on the whole trip,like where we leave, times, things to take, etc …..everything!! Just information that is vital and tells me its really happening.
