Hello everyone! I’m trying to decide on my first ever trip with Contiki. I’ll be traveling alone and I’m super nervous but I know I’ll make fast friends 
My thing is I can’t decide which tour!
I definitely want the London, Paris but which is the better extension:
Amsterdam or Rome?
I want to see both so I’m having a tough time deciding and anyone who has been there or who can offer some advice would be greatly appreciated!
Incidently, anyone traveling on one of the tours in Nov. – I’m looking at Nov. 14th-ish – let me know, that way maybe I’ll know someone before I go

I’m going on the Canada & the Rockies trip next month, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions about the easiest/quickest/cheapest way of getting from the Vancouver International Airport to the Sandman Hotel.

Hey everyone haha I know this is probably going to sound quite silly but I’ll be travelling by myself which includes time in New York and I was thinking of getting some pepper spray to carry around with me as a “just incase” sort of thing.
Would anyone know a good place to recommend when it comes to buying some pepper spray?

I was just wondering if anyone has done the OC Experience optional? I’m not a huge fan of the show, but thought it sounded kinda cool. Any opinions, good or bad?

After my 46 day camping tour i am wanting somewhere to relax and catch up on my travels somewhere for a few days.
We finish in London but i am spending a week there before the tour.
I am thinking of Luxembourg but does anyone have any other cities/towns that would be nice?

I was wondering if anyone had purcahsed and used any of the passes you can buy which cover admission into lots of museums, churches and transport and give discount on other stuff too in cities like Dublin, Florence, Rome, Amsterdam, Prague or any other of main cities in Europe.
Are they good value or are you better off to just pay admission into places you want to go to and pay for transport as well?
Any info or advice would be welcome. I’m doing Contrasts tour in few weeks and wondering if we should buy any of these passes before we go or once we get there.

I am struggling with picking a tour date and was hoping for some help.
What is the weather like in Europe during early September? Will it still be reasonably warm out, or will it be a bit colder?
Can anyone tell me what the weather on the French Riviera is like in mid-september? Will it be too cold to go swimming/enjoy the beach? I want to be able to relax on the beach, but I also want to be in Munich during Oktoberfest.
I need to decide soon, so thanks for the advice! I’m hoping some experts can help me choose!!!

Hey, this is my first time on a contiki and i am going over with a friend on the Grand explorer departing December 31st from Christchurch. Has anyone done this before?? Just wondering what usually happens for new years. Do we have it in Christchurch?? Is anyone else going to be on this tour??

okay. so I’m doing the london/paris/rome your in november and I’m panicking a little. I have alot of questions.
I would love it if someone could help me out.
and sorry if any of these are repeats
1.)do we just bring our suitcases to all our locations? I read something about leaving luggage in the contiki basement and bringing overnight bags…
2.) how much is recomended spending money for food. I’m alright with just a sandwich or whatever for lunch. and same with dinner.
3.) exactly what kind of accomadation am I to expect?
4.) how much luggage is recomended (i thought maybe 2 jeans, 3 or 4 shirts (includes fancy shirt), 1 skirt, 1 dress for night out, 3 shoes (walking, fancy, flip-flops), whatever required undergarments :P, some kind of coat (i’m assuming a wintercoat is a good plan. maybe my light jacket.) and some other things..)
5.)how many optional excursions are there? are there more than the ones listed?
I can’t think of any more questions right now. If I think anymore I might explode anyway haha

Hello All!
So I have been thinking about booking the Eastern Mediterranean Cruising tour but I have a number of concerns about the actual cruise. I have never taken a cruise and have received numerous negative reviews on cruises in general.
Based on the information I looked up about the boat it seems the latest we ever get back is 10pm. Does this mean that there are no opportunities to take in the night life in any of the locations we visit?
Do we only get meals served on the ship?
Are we somehow seperated from the rest of the people on the ship or is it just like being on a cruise with special tours for the Contiki group during the day?
That pretty much just skims the surface of my questions on being on a cruise with Contiki.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback from anyone who has gone on any of the cruises through Contiki.

Hi! I was thinking about doing the 10 day Great Britain tour (or perhaps the even longer one with Ireland included), I was just wondering if anyone has done either of these tour and could tell me what they liked/disliked about them or if they would recommend them. thanks
