Hi guys
there are 4 of us are doing the best of usa starting the 29th aug 09, and are thinking of going to see the dodgers on the 31st and it starts at 7.10pm, is there specual buses/ trains that go to and from the games? And how long do baseball games go for??

I’ve been doing research on Contiki and want to validate some things before paying A LOT of money.
1. The air conditioning system on the buses causes everybody to get sick.
2. Bus drivers get lost consistently.
3. Hotel rooms are awful because Contiki has pretty much run itself out of any decent ones due to their party image.
4. Most people want to make friends and get drunk, not see Europe.
5. Buses are located outside of the city to force you to do optionals.
6. And this is my biggest concern: After paying lots of money, you are told on day 1 not to BMW: *, Moan, or Whine because the advertisements about how the trip would be were a lie.
I’m concerned now. I went to Epinions and 70% of the reviews were negative. Any truth to anything?

I am interesting in picking up some genuine designer gear but i have heard there are places like discount outlets in NY that sell it for cheap as there is something wrong with it like a button missing etc is that true or is it all knock offs??

hey im looking to book a contiki tour. Need help with choosing which one?? i’m going it solo so which one would be better for me to too many couples???

Hello, i’m planning on doing the Wild Western tour in august and will have about 5 days after the tour to do some further exploring of LA and to go to Dinseyland and Universal Studios. I’m having a hard time deciding which area would be best to stay in. Can anyone help? I’m not really into the backpacker type accommodation but don’t want to spend a fortune either.

Ill be doing, LA Scene, Grand Southern and Big Apple Explorer Jan-Feb and i was wondering what optionals ill be able to do as it in USA’s Winter and some optionals say seasonal.

Hey ppl,
If you do a concept tour.. example european escapade.. do you have to share a room with more then one person? is it all hostel style like 8 beds one room and two communial bathrooms one male one female for the whole hostel? and if so is it this way all the time or does it change place from place?

I’m traveling over to Europe for the 1st time in January & just want to know what the dress codes are like in certain countries…. To be safe should you where long sleeve dress shirt & nice shoes or can you get away with funky t shirts & a pair of diesel shoes???

I would like to book the European Impressions tour for July 9/09 start in London. However, this is not a guaranteed departure. Do dates in July normally fill up or is there a good chance it could be cancelled? Thanks for any advice you can give!!

I am wanting to take a trip next year for my 30th birthday and would like to go to Australia. I am thinking about doing the Contrast Reef and Rock tour, does anyone have any advice on this tour? Also is it hard to travel AU alone or would it be better to do a tour?

I need to rent/hire a car for a few days prior to my tour? Arriving in Auckland and heading North to Whangarei/Tutukaka. Any suggestions? Which company is cheapest? Is renting/hiring from the airport is much more expensive? Should I consider taking the bus instead?

I am planning on doing a Contiki Tour of Australia next year and trying to figure out which is the best one to do. Can anyone make any suggestions? I unfortunately only have 2 weeks to play around with or else I would have just booked the 28 day Grand Explorer.
Right now the two trips that I were looking at were either the Nortern Territory or Reefs & Rainforest.

hey all, just had a look in the dates and rates part of the site at the European adventurer tour, it shows in the key a symbol which shows what tours will be in Munich for Oktoberfest, but i just noticed that none of the dates have the symbol next to the tours anymore but they did have when i booked the tour. I’m just hoping contiki isn’t going to stuff us around and say we don’t get to go anymore as i chose that date for that reason otherwise i would be over there right now in the warmer weather! Does anyone have any idea if the tours are still going to Oktoberfest and they have just forgotten to put the symbols in when they upgraded the site.
