I am going on the Euro Magic/superior tour and I was wondering if it would be worth it to pack my own hair dryer.
Do the hotels supply them in the rooms? If so, are they any good?
I am trying to save room in my suitcase and wondering if it is worth the weight haha!

Hey everybody
Just wondering if anyone has any experience booking a tour while out in the country already. i’m booked on the wild western in june and may have some free time after and i may want to book another tour but want to wait to see how i enjoy the first one and how my budget is. is is it possible to book a second tour while in the US?

Hi Guys,
I’m about to finish my tertiary studies (hopefully forever) and I haven’t been overseas in 5 years. I’ve previously done 2 contikis (a European explorer and a western highlights in North America).
Im interested in going to Hawaii to see the Volcanos, do some scuba, drinking etc… I was wondering if anyone has done the Hawaii Contiki? Theres a 3 or 5 day tour, though it just looks like accomodation on the website with no daily itinerary.
Ill be travelling solo this time.
My questions are…
Has anyone done the 3 or 5 day tour before? Was it worth it or would it have been better to organise something that wasnt a contiki?
Is it worthwhile going to Hawaii alone?
Do you have a group or something when on one of these? Im concerned about getting there and spending 2 weeks like the guy from castaway….
What is the conitki accomodation like?
Im guessing that there are daily activities that you sign up for everyday?
Is Hawaii more of a retiree holiday destination? Would I be better off going to Vegas/Europe to party?
I’d be going in June/July… Anyone know what the weather would be like?

Hello, I am new to all this travelling stuff but me and my girlfriend just booked our Grand Northern tour for July 2010 today. We were wondering where the end point in LA/Anaheim is, and how easy it would be to get from there to our hostel on Hollywood Blvd?
Also, what time does the tour start in New York, and where is the pick up point?

I just booked the Coast and Whitsundays tour (reverse) for August 31, 2008. I am sure I, like most other people from the USA, will be exhausted after traveling 24 hours. My tour begins in Whitsundays and I know there will be a social meeting the day we arrive. I also know that lots of people will want to go out and party the first night. As much as I look foward to meeting everyone, I may be too tired and wish turn in early. Is this a typical thing for travelers on the day of arrival? Do some travlers crash as soon as they get off the plane and at the hotel?

So I’ve read about all the benefits of booking the flights through Contiki, but I have one question. If I book through Contiki and decide to stay back in London after the trip is complete, can I easily change my flight home? Better yet, can I book the flight through Contiki and leave the departure open ended, meaning I can select the date I want to leave when the trip is complete?

Hi guys, can you help clarify something…
Ok and external frame backpack, what are they.. i have no clue?
I bought this 75l backpack the other day.. . It has an “Evolution Bar Harness” to support the weight… is this an external frame? if this acceptable for my trip?

Hey everyone, I am looking at doing a Greek tour solo in 2008. Can anyone offer up any suggestions on which Greek tour to take. Having trouble deciding between the Golden Fleece or Island Hopping? Also how easy is it getting around only speaking english and anyone suggest when the best time to visit? Thanks

Just wondering about the Franz Glacier hike…
The climbing part, do you need a lot of arm strength to pull yourself up the mountain or is it more like walking up a steep hill?
Just trying to figure out which one to take. The heli one or the trekking one. :-)

Hey Peeps!
I’m an Aussie, currently living in Canada. Ready to book my next Contiki adventure!
What I’d like to know is, what’s the weather going to be like for the North by North East tour if I head off in May. I’m currently living in the Canadian Rockies and am quickly getting used to some pretty chilly days – May is getting close to summer, will I sweat my buns off?

PS: Anyone thinking about doing the Canadian Rockies tour – DO IT! I did earlier this year and it was amazing. If you get a bus driver called Robbie, even better!

im doing the aegean classic tour which is basically just a 4 day cruise with stopovers on the islands.
has anyone done this, how much cash should i take?
ill prob pay the onboard ship account with my card, but is there anything to buy on the islands?

Hey,
Im planning on taking my first contiki tour in late december this year.
It will also be my first time out of the country. 
I love camping and the camping tour visits more places but the ultimate tour goes to egypt.
I need help deciding!
Can anyone who has been on either of these tours (hopefully both) give me there opinions on what they thought?
I really like history and i wanted to go on a tour that showed me some of europes history.
Which tour would be best for that?
Also anyone else planning to travel around that time feel free to contact me.
We can share ideas!
