Hi,
Im travelling on European Magic in 9 weeks, needless to say im very excited,and im having trouble trying to figure out how i get to the royal national using the train..its my first time to London and im arriving 3 days early ad well… Any advice on how what to do for those days would be much appreciated..

Hi, I’m 19 year old female, Aussie going on Ultimate EU at the end of August (09).
I understand from other posts I’ve searched, that you have to pay 1 – 2 Euro to use the rest room, and some of them are of the ‘drop’/‘squat’ variety 
I was just wondering though, if this is just out and about on the streets of the town that you have to pay? Or do you have to pay within resturants and clubs as well etc.
If anyone can provide any information of their own experiences, would be much appreciated

hope your all going ok! its slowly getting closer to my trip… SLOWLY. I know that theme nights are big on the Europe tours but are they common on the tours in the USA?

Hi all,
my girlfriend and i are looking at doing the winter wanterer starting 29 dec – 21 jan ’10 plus a week at the end to do whatever we please (most probably quick tours of london, ireland, scotland)
anyway just was after some feedback from the more experienced travellers out there.
a) Just how cold is it during this period? what exactly should we be taking, how many layers will we be wearing?
b) just after a rough guide on flight prices. what has everyone else paid? if not too personal a question. and also peoples thoughts on a two stopovers vs one stopover flight there and back. any good websites to check out?
ps from melbourne aus >london
c)money (of course) what range should we be looking at budgetting a day. we dont want to be scrooges but dont want to pay top dollar for everthing as well.
if anyone would be able to help would be greatly appreciated and any other thoughts people had would be great

What time approximately do tours leaves the Royal National Hotel? Im staying in a hostel nearby and just wanted a rough guide to what time I will have to be ready by…

Has anyone taken this hop on hop off bus tour in london? Does it leave anywhere close to the royal National and if so where is the closest stop.

Hi,
My flight to fly out of Paris is scheduled for 11:55am. Does anyone know if the 10am arrival at the airport is guaranteed, or should I make other arrangments to get to the airport that morning??

Ok so.. i want to go to europe do a contiki tour.. (travelling solo)
i want to go tothe oktoberfest BUT.. my cousin is getting married october 3rd… up in scottland (edinborough)
so .. would u guys recommend a tour during oktober fest OR…. after my cousins wedding ??
the trip that seems to look good at the moment is.. euro experience 20 day tour.. stops at oktoberfest and gets me to london a few days BEFORE the wedding…
is anyone else looking at this tour? it doesnt seem as popular

I was wondering if anyone had information or advice on going to Australia anytime within the next six months with this whole flood going on in Northern Queensland. I put some money down for Sunshine Trail (reverse) June 6th, but I don’t wanna tour underwater cities!

Hi everyone,
The name is Grant and 20yrs old australian and very heavily considering doing the European Whirl tour in September when octoberfest is on in germany. My first question is , is the european whirl tour any good? Is there places still available for the euro whirl when octoberfest is on? Now I have never left the country and got a few questions about money exchange as well. Does all of europe go by euro’s or does some countries still go by there local currancy. Now how do u go about exchanging money to there currancy? All reply’s would be extremely helpful as all reply’s would consider towards my final decision if I am to go to europe.

Hi Im a little confused… We travelled to Thailand last year and we were allowed to take liquids on board as long as they werent over 100ml but I have heard you cant take any liquids on flights to the UK. Does this include basic toiletries and cosmetics? I dont want anything confiscated cos I heard they do thorough bag checks.

Hello, first time to overseas..doing contiki european panorama july 23rd….travelling 2 weeks around europe with a friend after this and dont really have any idea where to go?!?! Can anyone recommend some places? Was thinking berlin…dubrovnik…prague…maybe some coastal town in spain…?!?! Also does anyone know of any good hostels in these towns??
