Hey Guys
In your opinion which are the best parks to see at Disneyworld in Orlando?
I will have 2 days I think. I’m doing Grand Southern.
Any comments would be fantastic too. eg. how long it takes to do one park? why they are your favourite? any other things to do in Orlando?
Thanks Guys ![]()

How many people take contiki’s travel insurance? Does it cover everything? Flight, luggage, cancellation, medical etc? Or should I be booking through another company? What would you do?

Hello
I will be traveling on the Northern Escape, July 21st tour. I’m looking forward to see the various North American sites and parks. However, I have come across a share of comments that Contiki is big, and I mean BIG, on partying and drinking well into the night.
Don’t get me wrong, I can certainly drink and party, but I’m not the type of guy that goes at it all night or drinking until my speech is slurred (no offense!). And while I am sociable and can strike up conversations, and I’m more than willing to meet new people from all over the world, my personality is more on the quiet side.
Now, will a Contiki environment be too much for me too handle?

does anybody have the prices and dates for the spring 2007 (march/april/may) tours so I can get a ballpark number of how much and when? Cuz all that’s up on the site are summer/fall and I’m guessing that the price varies on the season. thanks!!!

Hi the tour is getting closer and i’m just wondering what sort of food do they have as the included meals on the Great Britain & ireland tour, i’ve done contiki before and i know breakfast is pretty basic & dinners arn’t fine dining but i just want to know that it’s not going to be kidney pies & mushy peas all the time.
Any tips would be great

So i am booking my flight to and from London, i want to arrive in London a day early, but i want to leave on the last day of the trip.
So If the tour ends on a Monday (Amsterdam to London), what time can i expect to be back in London, and will the bus drop us off at the airport?

Hi all…I’m going to traveling from the US to NZ this June alone and I’m not sure where I should focus my vacation. Since it’s winter and I’ll be traveling solo…any ideas on what would be fun this time of year?

Hi!
I’m planning on doing the Wild Western tour this year, but I’m a litle concerned about going to the US without a credit card.
I only have an EC card and of course I’ll bring cash, but are there many places where you need a credit card, or is cash accepted everywhere and can I also pay for the optionals with cash?
I don’t wanna get a credit card for one tour and I don’t need it in my country, did anyone already do a US-tour without a credit card or had someone without one on their tour?
Thanks in advance. ![]()

Hey guys,
Over the weekend I picked up a US Contiki 2009/10 brochure. Even though I’ve already booked and paid for my Grand Southern & BAE trip (starting Jan 24 `09) I thought I’d take a look at it and see whats new. I noticed on the FAQ page under the visa & passport question it states those who travel to the US under the visa waiver program (Aussies, amongst others)will need to apply for an ESTA as of Jamuary 12 2009. Even though you may not need a visa you’ll still need an ESTA.
Just thought I’d let those know who, like me, have already booked a trip for next year and havent had the chance to look at the new brochure. Prior to reading the brochure I still assumed that I wouldnt need to do anything different than I did when I went to the US earlier this year.

I have a question about luggage … it says in Contikipedia that for NZ trips the luggage is limited to one non-expanding suitcase of a reasonable size. I have a suitcase that measures 26"x 17″ × 8″ which is a reasonable size (it’s within the maximum measurements for the European trips) but it is an expandable suitcase. Am I still allowed to take it if I don’t use the expanding feature? Why aren’t expandable suitcases allowed? Any info you can give me would be great, thanks!

Hey!
I’m about to do my first Contiki Tour (European Discovery) and I plan on staying a few days in London before the trip starts. Which hotel would you recommend? Any feedback on either hotel would be great!
Thanks!

Hello, fellow travelers! My name’s Bula and I’m a 23-year-old female (will be 24 on the trip) from Calgary, Canada who just put her deposit down for the Aug. 12-25 trip in 2007. I’m going with my friend Kelly, 24. We’re both university students (she’s in law school; I’m a Psychology major). We might or might not be joined by our friend, Arthur.
Anyway, we thought this would be an opportune time to meet our fellow group members. Has anyone signed up for this trip yet? If so, we should chat and totally devise various methods of bragging to our friends about our impending trip. Also, we can discuss whether we will or will not eat Australian bugs as part of our off-the-hizzle trip. Capiche?
I look forward to hearing from you guys. Please include your name, age, whether you’ve done Contiki tours and a wonderful fact about yourself. Here is mine: I am a Harry Potter fanatic. More to follow!
Bula
