Hey guys,
im through europe next july alone and i had a few questions.
is it best to do the camping tours alone? (maybe the 43 day one.. i think it was.. or is that just stupid.. and in comparisons to topdeck and bus about what do you all have to say.
ive been looking at the 3 for a while now and while they all stand out as great ways to adventure through europe im still kinda curious to the different experiences they will allow.
i dont wanna be stuck on a bus all the time. and i want something that is worth its value.
any help would be great! thanks

I’m looking at going on the North By North East tour in August starting in Chicago (reversed tour)
Just wanted some opinions from those that have done it, what it’s like, Is it worth the $$$ as it pushes my holiday expenses up a fair bit for the 6 weeks I am travelling and this is only 12 days…..any help?

Have just looked at the list of tours released for summer ‘08 and the prices seem to have increased by quite a bit. If the US dollar holds at the current rate, it’s not too bad, but if it appreciates in value again, the tours will be quite costly for people outside the US, Asia especially.
Spotlight on Greece has increased by quite a fair bit, should have gone last year!

Howdy!
I’m thinking of booking the ski trip on aug 16 2009 + a few days pre tour skiing at mt hutt in christchurch.
I did the original ralph/cleo ski trip 2 years ago, it was freakin’ awesome!!!
Let me know if you’re thinking of heading over at the same time.

Hi,
I wanted to check, is booking multiple tours the same discount as booking for a group? Every time I go to look at the 2 trips or more discounts, it just directs me to the group booking discount page.
If this is the same discount, I was looking at doing 3 tours with a friend, does that mean we get 5% off each tour? I would like to find out how this works exactly so I can get my head around it.
Thanks.

Just wondering how do you use a credit card as a debit card? Do you still select the account as Credit or do you press savings?
I plan on using my credit card (wizard) as my debit card by loading it up with all my cash before my trip. But im never used the cash advance feature at an ATM before.
If you’ve done this before pls help!

My sister and I are interested in taking the London & Paris trip around June of 2007. I would like to hear from anyone who has taken this tour.
I’m concerned about free time to travel around the two cities to just explore and see sights, etc that we want to see. I know this tour has less stops, so is there ample free time to just experience the culture? London is our focus and we’re thinking of going a day or two early to take in more of London… do you think this is necessary?
Also, I read that the bus will hold souvenirs in a separate compartment… how large of a bag would they accept?
If anyone has a blog or review on this vacation, please post your links as I would love to check them out!
Thanks! ![]()

hi,
Im heading OS for 4 months to the US and all over europe and was just after any companies that have done you good on travel insurance. ive been to the US before and understand about the level of travel insurance required. Its just that STA are quoting $900 (inc 20% discount) and medibank private are quoting $500 (10% members discount). i dont need skiing and adventure sports cover just full comprehensive.
Has anyone traveled worldwide for a similar time and has a good company that didnt cost the earth?? (I dont want to skimp of course but dont want to pay an astronomical amount either.)
Thanks,
