I am thinking of doing the Beaches and Reefs that ends on Sunday January 10th 2010 in Cairns. The itinerary states, “Say a final farewell to your new friends as your trip ends this morning” so does that mean that when you wake up your tour is over, no gathering or last breakfast and your last part of your tour is pretty much the previous night? I have a flight to catch at 10:25 am on that Sunday, so just want to make sure I am not missing out on anything.

Hi there, I am booked onto a Northern Highlights tour that leaves Wellington on 2 Feb 07. There seems to be 2 other tours (Grand Explorer and Grand Adventurer) that arrive in Auckland at the same time as my tour and do the same locations. Does this mean I will be sharing my bus with these tours, or will we have our own?
Also, how many people should I be expecting to be doing just the Northern Highlights tour?
Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to choose a trip from the following three:
Euro Inspiration
Euro Discovery
Euro Encounter
Obviously they vary in length from 12 to 19 days… I’m going in winter with two friends and we are only 20, so we kinda want a trip which will most likely have people similiar ages to us.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
thankyou!!

Hi Guys,
I’m doing the egypt and the nile tour in early Jan and thats a guaranteed depature and then i’m suppossed to be doing the winter wanderer on the 20th Jan but its not a guaranteed depature and a lot of the tours before that date have been made unavailble.
So i was just wondering does anyone know how close to the date it becomes a guaranteed departure or if the tour won’t go ahead how long before it is suppossed to go do you find out?
I’m just a bit worried that i’ll find out when in Egypt and it will be hard to sort out?
thanks
any help is great!

hey,
just thought i’d see what you guys think..
after the europe tour i’ve got a few days in london.
do you reckon it’s better to stay at the royal national, or to stay at a hostel eg. piccadilly? the main thing i’m thinking is if it’s be better there as more people, travellers, by themselves, parties/meeting people etc.
i’m guessing RN would be comfier, i think piccadilly has those cube-bed-type things (if you can imagine a ‘connect 4’ game haha)
plus saving about $250. though i’ve already paid RN, think it can be cancelled though.
??

Hey everyone,
Im doing the Euro Experience April19th-May10th
and I’m just wondering if there’s a need to bring a bathing suit? I doubt we stop by many beaches although we are going to be along the French Riviera, no clue if we have time to swim though.
I’m just wondering because I’m a bit confused about the weather, when I look up temps they seem warm for me (I’m from Canada) but many people have said it’s still cold over there at this time.

Can anyone help me with the do’s and dont’s for this tour?

Hey.
I am travelling to Vietnam in early 2011 (too far away!) on the Vietnam Experience tour and have been doing some reading. There seems to be a HEAP of misinformation about Malaria in Vietnam, where it is at its most prevalent, and if I should take Malaria tablets ?
The vibe I get is that often the side effects of Malaria tablets outweigh the need to take, them unless absolutely nesscecary. I am a bit of a physically sensitive person (ie. sensitive stomach) and am just wondering if anyone else who has taken this tour (Vietnam Experience) used Malaria tablets? – and the best ones in your opinion if you did..
I know sometimes these discussions don’t get answered, and that’s okay – but thought Id put it out there and see ![]()

hey i’m looking into doing the b & r in oct-nov and i noticed for each of the optionals there’s like a billion things listed. am i correct in thinking that i can only choose 1 for each day we stay in a place. like the itinerary says 1 day in surfers paradise- so do i have to choose between surfing and the tiger moth flight? it seems hard to fit both in 1 day. same for the scuba and sky diving in carines. thanks!

Hi,
I’m planning on going to New Zealand for a Working Holiday. Not sure how long I will be going, but I’d like to pop a NZ Contiki tour in the middle of my NZ trip and an AU one before I go home.
Anyway, since I do not know how long I will be going for, is it possible to book these trips while I’m in New Zealand?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

I am just wondering if it is okay to leave early from a tour. I am trying to book flights, and the best flight out of Madrid is scheduled to leave at 7am, however my tour is supposed to end at 8am that same day. Will I be missing much/am I allowed to leave early?
Thanks!

Is it worth bring a laptop for a 7-14 day tour? I do not want to carry it around with it throughout the trip and use it a few times or none at all. Is it useful having a laptop during the tour? Do most hotels in europe have an Internet connection?

I was wondering what all should be brought for this trip. What weather should I be prepared for? What dressy clothes should I bring? etc.

Hi all ![]()
Hoping we can get some feedback and advice here.
My wife and I are pretty much first time travellers to Europe (I’ve been to Germany and the UK for business but eh) and we’re kinda leaning towards the European Encounter this December.
We have flights into London on the 17th December and out of Rome on the 7th January so the tour could work. We’d spend Christmas at Lucerne and New Years around the French Riviera.
Any comments? Advice? Do it, don’t do it? ![]()
Thanks!

I am doing the London/Paris/Rome trip in June and I wondering what airport you guys recommend for arrival and departure. I believe we are flying into London and departing Rome.
We are flying out of Los Angeles. Can you guys also recommend airlines as well?
Thanks

Hey guys, I’m looking at heading over to UK/Europe around July/August next year but am wondering when I should book my flights. I’m most probably going with Emirates but is it too early to book now? Should I wait until the start of next year or are the deals on at the moment as good as they are going to get?
I don’t want to go and book if I can get cheaper later on and vice versa, does anyone know of any expos next year?
Thanks!

Hi I’m doing the Beaches and Reefs tour from Sydney starting on the 23 October but arrive on the 21 and was considering doing a tour or something to kill time, I’ve looked on t’internet and there seems to be only a few sightseeing tours are these worth doing? I think I found a City Tour and a Bondi explorer also would you recommend getting the Sydney Pass for these days?
