Hi! I just wanted to ask why London explorer is more expensive in May? Is it because of the month? or will the price still decrease? Prices for feb and march are much cheaper.

I’ m going on the grand explorer tour in JAN07, and I wonder what sort of accomodation will be provided.
I would like to take a trolley with me, but I don’t know whether this is too ‘city-trip-style’. Is it better to take a suitcase or a bag/backpack?

My name is Kirsty. I’m from Cardiff and I’m seriously thinking of travelling around Australia. All my mates are either skint or settled down so it looks like I’ll have to go on my own.
I’m a bit worried about going alone and thought that a tour might be a good way to meet other people.

First off I would like to say how much fun I had on my tour it was truly the best two weeks of my life but it would have been even better if I had been healthy the entire trip. I know there is little you can do to fight off the “Contiki Cough” but there is something you can do to avoid my mistake. I and a few of my other tour-mates managed to pick up a parasite during our European Highlights Tour. It is a parasite that is only found in un-pasteurized dairy products most commonly cheese. Now I am not 100 % sure but after discussing all the facts with my doctor and the timeline I am fairly confident that I picked it up during the wine tasting in St. Goar. That being said this is just a warning to make sure to stay away from un-pasteurized dairy products if you are not accustomed to them. Many people have a built in tolerance for that particular parasite but if you are from North America and you are used to pasteurized dairy you most likely won’t. The last few days of our tour were unpleasant to put it kindly because of our physical state and I managed to loose 15 pounds in a week (if I was trying this would have been a cool thing I’m sure). So please just make sure to take precautions if you are traveling because all this could have been prevented if I had taken the time to research and had been aware of the dangers not too mention the amount of money I had to spend on medication to get rid of the parasite once I returned home.

Wanting to do Europe, and maybe some Island hopping? around 1 month? first time travelling solo, im 22 and female what tours would you recommended? I dont want to go much over $3000
Also who do you book flights through? and do you go and see a travel agent or book online?

hey guys im thinking of taking a mobil from here ( aus) and buyin a sim card over in europe my first stop is sweden so if i buy a sim card will that work all over europe? any idea how much sim card are?? thanks

hey im doing the ultimate european in june/ july/ august and just wondering what the weather is like over there in those months..
i come from perth, australia and our summer is about anywhere from 25 to 43 degrees celsius. im guessing it wouldnt be that hot but what would would that time be in, spring or summer??

Hi All,
I have from the 3rd of Sept 2010 to the 5th of Aug 2010 free to do a contiki in EU.
I am having a hard time trying to choose a contiki trip even after reading some reviews.. I really want to go on a trip that has a bit of sight seeing but more partying than anything else.
I am travelling to EU again next year so i figure ill do more sight seeing stuff than.
Can anyone recommend a trip to me?

doing to europian Discovery Tour in March next year but i dont know what to do. Esp. since im going alone and dont know anybody.So is there any advice from anyone? Or is there anyone going? Well im super excited and cant wait to tour europe make new friends and have some advice.
