Hello everyone,
I’m doing the WW and know we get 2 free days in San Fran and was just wondering what Alcatraz is actually like? Do many people on the tour go? And what is it actually like? I don’t wanna pass up the oppurtunity to visit, so just want a feel of what its like, or whats better to do in San Fransisco?!
If it helps, im not really a museum person, but i am interested in forensics and like crime and punishment…

Our flight gets in at 5:10 am on a saturday. we are staying at the royal national but are unsure what time check in is and where we can leave our suitcases instead of carrying them around all day.
Does anyone know if you can leave bags at the Royal National and do they charge?

Is anyone doing this one? There seems to be a few ppl going on the 19th but none on the 17th 2010? (I mean there are no posts on here etc)
Just wondering why there are 2 tours so close together? Is one departure date better than the other?

Hello,
Stupid question perhaps, but do the contiki buses have toilets? if we stop every 3 hours i’d be busting. not a comfortable trip. Minor detail really, but thinking of everything at the last minute. I’m doing the july 7 horizon by the way!

Which is the best tour for people who like to party hard?
or does it completly just depend on who you end up with on your tour?

My husband and I are planning on going on the July 08 Highlights trip, have anyone ever traveled with couples on this trip? Would it be better to pay more money for the Discovery trip….whats your adivice?

I’m looking to do either the European Discovery,European Highlights, European Horizon or Spanish Spree in August.
Any advice/opinions/thoughts on which one is better? I’ve been to Rome, and I’ll be in Paris in July.
Any other trips you’d recommend that are around the same length (no longer the 15 days) and around $1,500 or so?

Whilst my girlfriend and i are on a 5 weeks adventure in dec/jan we are picking up the Western Highlights Tour starting Jan 23 and was wondering if there was anyone else who will joining this tour ! ?

Hey guys! Im looking into doing a Contiki tour – from experience would you suggest to go at age 18 or wait until 19? I know its only one year, but still! I get along with mostly anyone, i just dont want to be a completely different age to everyone else on the tour!

Hi All
I am doing the London to Rome tour in September, there is an option in Barcelona to do Flamenco Dancing, would anyone reccomend it? or is there something better I could do? Only there for 1 night.

My question is kind of complicated; bear with me.
If anyone has done tours where you start in one city, and end in another (example: Berlin to Budapest) — how did you head back?
Did you book different flights? (Your City to Berlin, then Budapest to Your City)
or, did you take a train/bus to the original city?

Hi I’m going on the European Horizons tour from September 14-25. I know it’s considered a summer tour, so to speak, but I’m just wondering what the weather is like in Europe at that time of year. Does it get fairly hot still, and should I pack some shorts and tank tops? Or is it quite cool and should I just stick with bringing pants and longer sleeved shirts? I don’t really want to pack a bunch of clothes I won’t use because it’s too hot/cold outside for them.

so got a few questions since ill be on a budget ( that word already scares me) but r u able to bring alchol in ur luggage on contiki thinking bout buying some duty free… coz i have no idea how much drinks are in europe any one know??

Hey everyone, does anybody what size of a backpack that i need for the big indochina adventure..im going for the first time in november to december..also what is the weather usually at this time of year and what should i focus on bringing with me and for how long..this is obviously the month one!
