Hi,
I’ve decided to go with phone cards instead of brining or renting a cell.
Is the Ekit card the better value or should I just buy cards along the way?
After reading the Ekit site, it also seems really difficult to use. Anyone else use it? Was it less of a hassle than it looks?
Thanks,
Cindy

Hi I’m going on the GN in september and was wondering about a couple of things.
1- How much money will I need for the tour?
2- What is the general cost of food/meals we have to buy?
Also I am staying on in LA and was wondering what are the best things to do there? Planning to go to disneyland. What else should I do?
Thanks
Brad

Hi All,
Just wanting some advice…
I am a 27yr old girl from Australia wanting to experience something different and exciting. I have recently travelled to Hawaii and absolutely loved it.
I have been looking into different USA tours and am seriously thinking of doing a few contikki tours around the states next year in April.
Can anyone offer advice as to is this a good time of year to go? Will i meet other people my age or am i going to be to old for a Contikki?
Also has anyone done a tour alone before and if so, how was it? Were you left out of a lot of things due to this?
Please please offer any advice or feedback, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much, Hayley.

Hi, Im doing the Eastern Discovery tour next Feb – can anyone provide insight into;
- What are average prices of meals, beer, etc.. in the US? Trying to budget and would like to know what im in for.
- How much could i expect to pay for a broadway ticket? And where do you get them/how do you book?
- Im looking at allowing approx $80US per day for spending – is that enough?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Ok, might seem like a dumb question, but on the ticket are we supposed to put the date of travel or does one of the officials do that?

If anyone can help it would be really great. All the tours we want a fully booked (yep, our fault for leaving it so late) so we have found that at the start of July both these tours have dates free. If anyone has done these before do you have advice?
Does anyone know the different demographics or pace of the tour?
Any advice would be great… I’m so stuck lol. Either way we will be ariving in LA early and then going to Hawaii, so that part is set… ![]()
Thanks!

Just realised that contiki is very popular amongst Australians, Canadians and Americans mostly. Havent really heard any Asian doing a contiki trip. Coming from Asia myself, just wondering whether Nationalities matter at all cause i just wanna go and have good time.
Cheers

Hey All.
Im doing the Best of USA tour in a few months time, Was just wondering if anyone had a list of the hotels we would be staying at as I want to book some “Attractions” over the net but alot of the sites ask for a hotel name.
I saw in an earlier post that they are shown on the brochure, which I haven received or is there a link to it to download?
Thanks
Shane

Do we stay in hotels or backpacker hostels for the Great Britain & Southern Ireland tour ?
Reading a bad review in the review thread about a young guy who got no sleep because his tour leader was making a racket every night … I like my sleep !!
