Hi Glenn, was a bit woried at first that I would be the only Aussie on this trip. All my friends think i'm crazy for doing a contiki tour in Australia. Im from Australind in Western Australia, two hours south of Perth. Cant wait to explore our country! I have seen some of Australia but never been too the Northern Territory. Cant wait, isnt long now until I will be joining you! See you in Alice Springs :)

    Hi Kate, honestly I was also starting to think I was the only Aussie aswell. But as I got quotes from some travel agents, they told me alot of aussies do these tours. But I've hardly seen any of this country yet. Never been to Sydney or the outback. But that'll all change soon. :-) Look forward to meeting you.

hI Glenn, wow your doing the big 25 day tour. I will be joining with everyone at alice springs. starting 14th october. Have you done any other Contiki tours?

    Well i look foreward to meeting you when i join the group in Alice Springs. Im now stressing over what bag to bring and what to put in it!! lol but i guess thats a girl thing!!

    Yeah you probably have seen more of Australia than me Heather. In this country I've only travelled as far as Brisbane as I have family there. But like you, I don't know what to expect either. Dont worry about the Dorm sharing, Its only during the night anyway. And yeah, if your not used to Australia's climate, the heat may be a bit full on. As long as you're hydrate, you'll be okay. :-)

    It sounds like I have seem more of Australia than you have over the years! Always the way though, people dont seem to visit their own country. Im from England and only went to London for the first time a last year!! I have been in Brisbane for 6 months and now im finishing work here i am traveling for a further 6 months then i will be going back to England. Im not sure what to expect from this tour! just hope it is good, im a bit apprehensive about the Dorm sharing. As for the weather in Alice springs and Darwin, I hope I can cope with the heat!!
