I'm a digital retoucher, who loves to cook, bake, and read. I also like ballroom dancing (although I'm not particularly good at it), and obviously I like to travel! I studied abroad in Venice during college for 6 weeks, which was fantastic, and I backpacked across Australia a couple years ago with my boyfriend at the time (we spent 3 1/2 weeks there, but only saw less than half the country)... If trips were like courses at a dinner party, the European Discovery would be the appetiser. 8 countries in one shot gives you a taste of all the big cities plus some hidden treasures, so you know where to go next time! From Amsterdam to Rome to Paris, you won't want to miss a thing. In fact, sleep will probably be the last thing on your mind!

That is really cool that you are a digital retoucher, maybe you can teach me a few things. I am almost done with the photography program at MATC in Wisconsin. I am really excited for this trip, this is my first trip by myself and out of the US.

Thanks! I'd be happy to give you some pointers in Photoshop. I got my degree in Photography too. I went to Pratt Institute here in NYC. What do you want to do career-wise with it? Are you going to do fine arts photography, commercial photography, or something else? I can't wait for this trip. i did a Contiki tour last summer and it was really fantastic. All the people were really friendly and obvious the sights themselves were incredible. I hope this one's as good! :) I know it can be daunting to travel by yourself, but I think doing it with a tour group like this is an excellent way to ease yourself into it. At least, that's the only way I ever traveled alone (that one time last summer!). And you sure went big with your trip choices for your first vacation outside the US! This tour is like 9 countries, isn't it? You sure don't play around. :P
