Just to clarify it was a light plane from Milford to Queenstown and I only decided to do it because the Air Safari was cancelled on me earlier in the trip due to weather so in answer to your question noone did air safari. I, Franz Josef I tossed up between the Helihike and the FJ Glacier Heli but for me the FJ heli won out as I had never seen snow and they do snow landings all year round (weather permitting) I am really glad I did this as we only just got up there and the Helihike didnt go due to the weather. So all in all be prepared for things like Skydiving, Helicopter and plane rides to be cancelled due to weather.If you have any more questions please ask.
