Sorry it has taken me so long to respond... I didn't realize that you had written back! :) I did a tour through a different company when I was 15 so this should be a whole new experience. I am 28 and my friend Missi that is coming with me is 24. I work at a bank and I am also a server at a restaurant and Missi works at a restaurant in Seattle. Our flight gets into Rome on Aug 20 at 12:30PM and we will be heading to a hotel called Degli Aranci... it's nothing fancy, I just booked it because it was close to the hotel we are supposed to stay at with the tour group. It will be nice to kind of get a feel for the place before meeting up with the group. I looked up a couple of restaurants in the area too and I can't read a thing on the menu! :) This will be an adventure I'm sure! I can't wait... Keep in touch and maybe we can meet up that first night we are in Rome!

That sounds awesome that you are living abroad! I live in Boise Id and my friend that is coming with me lives in Seattle, WA USA. We are heading over to Rome a dazy early because when we had to change our flights from the original tour we were on it was just how it worked out. i have been doing some research and I have been in contact with someone through tripadvisor that went on this same tour. She has some interesting insight about her experience... She said the hotel in Rome is awful. I got a list of the hotels fromt he company and have been looking into them. If you give me your email address I can forward it to you. It will be an adventure if nothing else. :) Have you ever done a tour like this? How old are you?
