Yucatan Highlights 1 country \ 6 days
24 Aug 2013 - 29 Aug 2013 \ You join the Mexico Grande Tour in Mexico City and embark on a wonderful adventure for 6 glorious days. It is non-stop fun, very nicely organized. The food, the included activities, the down-time, the amazing TM, everything was great! I was worried at first, joining a group, but they welcomed us with open arms and we all became a big, happy familia! Our Tour Manager, Ismael, was perfect. He had a lot of historical knowledge, local history and fantastic time management skills. Made us feel like we were getting the best of the best. The hotel in Mexico City was a bit sketchy, and I wasn't a fan of having to switch rooms in the middle of the day, but the other locations and hotels made up for it. The longest time we spent on the bus was 3 hours. Again, a fantastic trip! If you do this trip, go for the optional activities and the nightlife Ish will set up for you, you will have the time of your life!

See the Best of the Best
London & Paris plus Rome 4 countries \ 10 days
17 Aug 2012 - 27 Aug 2012 \ I went on this tour in August 2012. It was the best time ever, made tons of friends and I am still sorting through pictures. You have to know that if you can, book more time before and after in the cities you are visiting. There is not enough time to see everything. But this is a great tour to get to see and experience the basics and then you can plan where and when to come back. I booked the London Explorer before, so I ended up with 5 days in London, which was great and gave me plenty of time to do a lot. Paris was the only disapointment, as if you do the optionals (which are so worth it, Moulin Rouge and the Bike Tour which was THE favoritest moment on the tour) you are running a bit short on time, especially with the included Palace de Versailles visit. I picked the + Rome option, so I feel like I did not have enough time in Paris, but for a first time, I did get to see a lot. I also booked an extra night in Rome, which allowed me to get off the touristy path and take a morning off to a beach outside the city. Totally worth it!!! Contikis are fast paced but well organized and you do experience travelling in a completely different way, but its so worth it. Yes, the hotels aren't always the best and the included food sometimes is just ordinary, but those are just minor details in exchange for all the breathtaking moments Contiki will give you a chance to experience!!!

How to explore London!
London Explorer (2 nights) 1 country \ 3 days
16 Aug 2012 - 18 Aug 2012 \ This is not a trip of its own, its an adition, before or after, to another longer Contiki. This was a great idea. Granted, you can pretty much book the same on your own, but then, you will miss on all the little "Contiki" details that just made those few days an even greater experience for me. (A girl from my trip booked the same hotel on her own for the same nights, and Breakfeast wasn't included for her.) With Contiki, you get the included breakfeast, maps, the Hop-on Hop-Off bus ticket (Which is absolutely worth it!!!) many coupons and my ultimate favorite, a choice for a West-End musical. (I highly recommend that booking your musical is one of the first thing you do, as the choices aren't as many as I thought and do not play every night, so plan early, I saw the Wizard of Oz and it was magical!!!!) I chose to stay at the Imperial Hotel, that's where my tour was based as well, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and the breakfast was good as well!

The best way to see the Best of Greece
Spotlight on Greece plus 7 day Med Cruise 2 countries \ 12 days
04 Sep 2011 - 16 Sep 2011 \ This was my first Contiki. I went in September 2011, first time overseas. It was dream come true. The 4 days of the Spotlight on Greece were absolutely magical. Very fast paced, you're up early and you cover a lot of ground, but its worth it, if you want to see it all. You do spend some time on the bus, but you make so many stops and then you get to enjoy the sceneries and your new friends, time flies by. As for the cruise, unfortunately, I wasn't aware thats where the group broke up. There were different options. But as for the cruise itself, it was great. The food, installation and entertainment were awesome. I was a bit disapointed in the TM and the whole "Contiki" experience, as you were pretty much set loose on your own once aboard. Except for the official excursions on the Islands, there wasn't anything organized as a group. But no matter, it was still a lifetime experience, its Greece after all, who can say they had a bad time there? I have been on another Contiki since and plan on many more, I just think thta maybe cruises can be booked on their own, not necessarily through contiki.
