Best time to do Grand Northern?
Im looking at doing the Grand Northern in 2014 and was wondering what time of the year people who have done it before would suggest. I have done the Grand Southern in November so was thinking sometime halfway through the year but am trying to decide the best month in terms of weather, seasonal activities etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Southern Adventure (Start Los Angeles)

Make your way through 11 of the USA’s southern states on this adventure ride. From heli-rides across the vistas of the Grand Canyon to the bright lights of Vegas, this is the stunning south at its best. Get on down with cowboys at a rodeo, dig into finger-lickin' good ribs at a Texan BBQ, steamboat down the mighty Mississippi & learn to cook the New Orleans way! You'll experience everything from a Rocky Mountain high in Colorado to the Jailhouse Rock at Elvis' home in Graceland.
Grand Northern
2 countries \ 26 days \ from US$3501 per person
With 20 states & 2 Canadian provinces, get ready to go local. Start in the Big Apple before it’s all about Canada, America’s Great Lakes & Chicago en route to the American West. Chill at 4 National Parks before LAS Vegas.
Grand Canadian plus Calgary Stampede
2 countries \ 22 days \ from US$4115 per person
From big city buzz to the great outdoors, it’s all here. Start off by exploring Boston & New York in the US before diving into Canada. Cross the border into quaint Quebec then spend a few nights in Montreal & Toronto. After the city action, fly west for a dose of coastal charm & natural wonders, including the Rockies & Vancouver's cool vibe. And then on top of all of that, hit up the world famous Calgary Stampede! Men & women race in tall boots & hats, ride bulls at the rodeo & have an all around outrageous time.
