thanks for the info. I do have a day before and a few days after, so I will definitely do some things on my own. I am just gonna do what I want, if I don't like any of the "me time" activities. thanks again! cheers

Also be prepared to ge tup every morning at 5:30-6am have 20 min to eat after you shower and pack/check out then on the bus for 3-5 hrs. Oh the tour is really just 14 days 1 day you'll just travel through northern scotland on the bus alllllllll day and "sight see" the Day 2 tour of london is a quick bus tour with NO stop to get out and take pictures... So when your in london if u get a day before your trip starts i highly suggest you get out and do your own tour. your last day is a 12 hr bus ride and 3 hr ferry ride lol oh and in scotland theres a activity with archery rock climbing and high ropes course... the ropes course was the best the other 2 were very lame.

I liked the "free days" there was only 2 on the trip i think where you actually had the day to do what you want and eat where you wanted too, mind you in the evening there wood be some dinner thing to go too. We didn't enjoy any of the included meals... very very average food that gets over hyped by your tour guide caus eof course he wants you to pay for all the extra dinners and activities cause I'm sure he gets a bonus or something for that. After you see a few castles there ALL the same and you'll loose interest fast :P Be prepared to eat crappy breakfast sausage, weird UK bacon slices potatoes potatoes potatoes and beans beans beans you get sick of it after 4-5 days. your on the bus for 7+ hrs a day for 80% of the tour and you get 1 0r 2 QUICK 45 min stops to chow down fast food >.> You get see A LOT! but you dont really get the time to experience most of it, no where close of enough time to experience the culture and locals in most of the places you visit liek you get there around mid afternoon/dinner then your gone 7am the next day. i guess you'll have a blast if you like getting drunk every night. I enjoyed the tour WHEN i went out on my own and did my own thing, don't be afraid to do WHAT YOU WANT, the guide is getting paid to have you do things on a set list for bonuses etc

Hey Andrew. We get in at the same time, but we are staying at the Royal National. I have no idea whether the hotels are close
