  yeah absolutely, going alone isnt a problem at all. you make such great friends! i havent booked pre tour accomm just yet but ill get onto it soon :) its so funny. on the nz tour only 4 people checked in, and so i arrived with a welcome note for 4 people. i was freaking out thinking thats all that was coming but we joined a group of 35! no one else had checked in! so dont be worried about that. im getting so so excited!

  shouldnt** ps. ive booked my pre-tour accomodation so maybe we will get in the same room, cause there is like four of us now? and when you went to NZ did everyone get on the meetup? cause its looking pretty poor.

  my friend doesnt think she will be coming so thats a little disapointing but at the same time im not really bothered by it you know? a pre-tour drink would be amazing, i would love to semi-know someone before the tour starts. im slightly scared not knowing anyone but hopefully i should have an issue. sounds like you deserve the holiday with the mad saving you have been doing. i just booked a cruise to fiji with some friends for like a week after i get back to australia so that should be interesting haha hope to hear from you soon. and make sure sally gets on here. and sorry for the delayed reply. :)

  Woah a little bit of a delayed reply, sorry lol. Yeah it is a pretty big trip but I've been saving pretty hard so it will be an awesome reward. I've booked all of my flights and everything now, so I'll be staying in London on the 30th March. We will have to meet up for a pre-tour drink :) all of the optionals look like heaps of fun, it is definitely going to be an amazing trip! My friend Sally also just booked to do our tour, she's living in England at the moment so I'm a bit excited about that! I'll tell her to sign onto our page :)

  OMG!! Your trip is so long!! You are going to have the time of your life. My friend is thinking about coming with me and she wants to go to Ireland.. Yeah I have booked and paid for the flights, and contiki. I just need to book the pre tour accommodation, and my parents and I are staying for 2 nights in Kuala Lumper on the way home so I have to book a hotel for that too. Easter in Paris sounds amazing, I didn't even think about Easter. Lol. I havnt really looked much into the places we are going, i guess im really excited for Paris and Rome. I really want to do the white water rafting and the paragliding. That should be awesome. Are you in London on the 30th of march? Thats when I arrive, trying to figure out what I should do on that day. My birthday is on the 12th of March. I still can't believe how long your trip is, what an amazing gift to yourself. Have you booked all your flights?

  Oh sounds like you will have an awesome time! It's good that your parents are meeting you over there too. When do you turn 21? It's also my 21st present to myself! I'm the 22nd Feb :) I'm leaving the day after my birthday and going to LA and Vegas for a couple of weeks, then onto Ireland, then it's time for the Contiki! Then I will stay for another 6 weeks travelling through other places I wanted to see. Have you booked all of your flights and everything yet? I'm also really excited and nervous. It will be very different travelling alone on the other side of the world! Although I do have a few friends that I will be meeting up with while I'm there. Switzerland is probably the place I am most looking forward to, along with Venice and Paris! I think we will be in Paris for Easter? How about you?

  Im staying in London the night before the tour and then my parents are meeting me the day we get back in London, and we are going out to see our family for four weeks. I turn 21 a couple weeks before we leave so I thought it would be an awesome birthday pressie for myself!! Thanks for the tip, I have been trying to read as much as I can, with all the feedback. And googling and whatnot. Are you stayin before/after? Im so bloody excited, and nervous and slightly scared!! Is there anything you are looking forward to more than anything else??

  Hey we sure did! I've been wanting to do this Contiki for so long now, can't wait. I went to NZ with Contiki this year and it was by far the best time I've ever had, you will love it. As far as travel tips go... I guess just be prepared, especially money wise. Over budget for everything because some exciting activities may come up and it really would suck to miss out on them because of lack of money! A few people were in this situation on my last tour and they missed out on a lot of the best things! Are you staying in Europe before/after the tour? What a great place to go for your first time overseas :)
