I haven't done Contiki in Europe as per such but I went close to two years ago now on an Insight Tour of the UK(Do excuse my age I was 33 and a Half at the time)and from memory what we had was prepaid gratituites before you go.I would assume Contiki would from this end would do more or less the same thing given that both are Sister companies.
