    I see that now!! Quick question though maybe you know the answer to.. I see that a lot of the people in the meet up are on different tours that all seem to go to the same place and start the same time. Is everyone still together for some of it? haha just trying to understand.... Thanks!

Well you picked a helluva adventure for your first contiki! Yah I did European Highlights two years ago....8 countries in a lil over 2 weeks! I still talk to a lot of my contiki mates from all over the world to this day and some of them live in Australia. You'll love it, its non stop excitement and everything is organized. I was nervous excited for my first contiki because it was the first time I traveled internationally solo. Right from the jump tho I met really chill people on my tour and we were family from day one. Are you traveling solo?

    hahah oh gosh. well I'm excited for it all and nervous!! thanks for all the advice!! All the excursions look awesome I definitely don't want to miss out. Thanks so much again! I hope more people join the meet up. did you find that a lot of people did when you did europe?

    A lot of people travel solo on Contiki! I'm going solo again : ) If I waited for my friends to get there act together I wouldn't go anywhere lol. There was 50 plus people from ALL over the world on my contiki euro tour! Just be open minded and yourself of course : ) I hope our tour date fills up soon, dunno how many people have booked. Pack light for shopping and there's a strict weight limit of 50 kg I think?Bring a backpack or daybag for day stops. Don't bring tons cash initially, debit card. Save a lot of $ so you don't have to worry about it. Budget $ aside for the excursions, everybody did every excursion on my euro tour!, sooo fun! Oh and you'll notice Kiwi (NZ) accent is crazzzy hard to understand but be patient. They don't sound anything like Australians lol.

    Wow well that definitely makes me a lot less nervous! yes, I am travelling solo. I have been pretty nervous and very unsure of what to expect. I can't wait for everything. Any travel advice you have would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey Kim! I'm so jealous you're doing New Zealand too..lucky! I'm just adding extra days in Melbs,Sydney and Cairns with Beaches and Reefs : ) I can't wait ..esp for sailing Whitsundays!!!
