More About Me

Well, i have just returned from the USA, while i was there i did the Grand Southern, which was an absolutely amazing experience, it is the greatest thing i have done so far in my life. I met some fantastic people. Our tour manager, Drew Walker and our driver Bob Smith i think made it their mission for us to have an incredible time! i have to say they excceeded any expectaions i had! I have never had so much fun in my life, and having a tour manager that had a backgroud in history helped make the trip memorable, if your into knowing about the areas your visiting! I would highly reccommend doing the grand southern. its actually 3 different tours. Southern adventure LA- New Orleans, Eastern Discovery New Orleans- New York and The Grand Southern LA- New York. the big one is 24 awesome days of fun and adventure. sometimes it felt like we didnt have enough time in some places to explore, but it was none the less amazing!!

I am so excited about travelling, exploring the rest of the world. I cant wait! and the best part will be meeting some great people on the trip! In october im heading overseas again to take a trip on the trans Mongolian Railway! Im actually going with people from my grand southern contiki, i cant wait, only 8 months! wooooo! then hopefully heading to europe to work! yay feel free to contact me at jacquibetts@homtail.com
Cheers

  2. Cortez is a quiet stop on the Grand Southern, well it was until our tour group got there, you all know who you are. “235” ROOM PARTY ended with sirens.

  3. If you have the money… take the whitsunday sailing option aswell, i lived in the whitsundays for 7 months last year and had the time of my life. Its so far my favourite getaway place in austrlia. I always have such a great time there. Airlie beach is great too, everyone is so friendly and laid back, alot of backpackers here!

I bought a high sierra duffel bag, it cost me $120 and has wheels, it also has a zip down pannel on the back and you can pull out the back pack straps, so i cant complain. the straps are super compfy! I also have a high sierra laptop back pack, its awesome has like a 10 pockets both big and small, also has a small compartment for an ipod/or walkman and a hole for the cords to come out, i got it brand new off ebay for $27… also very comfortable and loads of room!
