I could lead him on a leash or ride around the yard on his back. We spent endless hours together. Boy we were a sight! That pig had a real fondness for kolaches so my dad named him "Kolache Rolf". Growing up with Kolache Rolf was not only fun but it taught me responsibility and life lessons that I still cherish today. Although he is long gone I still think of him and all the fun we had together. I guess I was destined to own a kolache shop and name it after the pig who taught me so much about life.
