Can anybody tell me what the accepted form of payment for the optional Contiki activities in Việt Nam is? Can I use my credit card? Or do I have to pay it in đồng? Or maybe US dollar...?

Small Suitcase or Backpack for Vietnam Experience?
I was wondering if it's advisable to use a backpack instead of a suitcase? I've never travelled with a backpack before. I usually take a small, hard-shell suitcase (small enough that I can take it onboard as a carry-on and put it under an airplane seat). But would that be a bad thing to have on this particular tour?
