07 Aug 2011 - 21 Aug 2011 \ ok so i got on at auckland and in bay of islands i did think the tour was going to be a bit tame; went out to a bar befriended a local and had an quality couple of nights up there. we got back to auckland and the bus livened up, top island caves, baths, booze cruise...think that summeries it really. loved wellington pretty cool city, windy mind south island it where s**t went down. ok so our route changed an we didnt see frans joseph glaicer, some people were quite pissed about this, but what can you expect if you go in the middle of winter, snow of course, lol......if it was england we would have been stuck in the same place for a week. lake ohua the only word i can say is hottub milford sounds we saw dolphins, penguins and sea lines and a lot of drunk people (don't know if contiki still offer this) dunieden instead of frans joseph, all the girls got double rooms coz of the change, which was totally lush....was feeling pretty run down by then so used the time to sleep in prep for queenstown. queenstown, what an experience, i wish in hind sight id stopped there and partied in queenstown for like a week. sky dived and bungy jumped....spent the days sleeping and the nights partying, i did half a days skiing seriously don't do this hung over, i spent the afternoon sleeping. so in hind sight i would suggest if your thinking of this tour do auckaland to queenstown, miss out the top and christchurch.

21 Jul 2010 - 30 Jul 2010 \ this trip links up with 4 other contiki tours La to La La to vegas La to the bay vegas to La i would not recommend getting on the bus in vegas as most people had been on since La....do disney over universal if you have a choice. so la big disappointment, it is not the hills, be aware of this before you go,....but i did go to a premire, you can check when they are we stood outside until the end and then were given tickets to go in. san diago, i would definetlly go back to its a great city...i did sea world, quality bass lake, quality day chilling on the lake and partying in the bar after VEGAS awesome, emense everything you think it will be, loved it....didn't love the free drinks in the cas didn't flow as much as youd like baseball match is a great experience, hot air ballon if your umming and arring dont bother, i was a bit bored by the end. yosemite me and one girl wanted to party here but it was pretty dead.....do the helicoper ride san fran, great, but as a city i wouldnt feel safe walking about on my own at night, ooo and book alcatras in advance. think that pretty much sums it up, a great way to see the west coast of the states, the most tame of the 3 contikis i went on.

27 Jul 2009 - 09 Aug 2009 \ so i did this tour in July 2009, it was awesome. the night at the chateux, crazy..... we went to a random dodgy club in the rhein valley munich the beer hall totally rate it gosh there is sooo much to mention by far the best contiki i've been on, would highly recommend this trip and if i can offer any advise, sleep on the bus as much as possible, i brought a pollow with me, people thought i was crazy but it was worth it!
