   The Huka Falls are one of the most popular (not to mention most visited) natural attractions in all of New Zealand and can be found inbetween Rotorua and Taupo on the North Island. The aqua blue water flowing down the Waikato River narrows and is forced over the falls at the astonishing rate of roughly 220,000 liters (58,000 gallons) per second.    Due to the devastating earthquake that hit Christchurch on the 22nd February 2011, the central city is closed as many buildings are set to be demolished. There are changes to our regular itinerary in Christchurch, for the foreseeable future, so expect things to be different.
