Stockholm
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden but with a population of around 1.7 million, it is not only the largest city in Sweden, but also all of Scandinavia. The city is home to King Carl XVI Gustaf, the King of Sweden and is also a world leader in the technology industry and is considered to be the cultural capital of Scandinavia. One of the city’s most famous residents was Alfred Nobel and as such the city is also famous for hosting the Nobel Prize awards every year.
