FAVOURITE PLACE?

“The view from the Elephant Crossing hotel in Vang Vieng, Laos was stunning! Overlooking the Nam Song River and up into the Mountain Ranges right out of the balcony glass doors. Breakfast buffet is right on the river and its only a short stroll from the streets filled with restaurants and bars!”

FAVOURITE FOOD?

“Be experimental! Immerse yourself in the culture and try something you’ve never tried before. I tried it all from Snake, Tarantula, Scorpion and even got to try my new favourite, traditional home-made Lao-Lao which was an unexpected surprise!”

THOUGHTS PRIOR TO THE TRIP?

“I thought the trip was just going to be a bunch of people that jump on a coach and drive around looking at “tourist attractions”…. And boy was I wrong! Within the first day or two you start to build long term friendships with everyone else on the trip and not nearly as much time spent driving on a coach as I had expected. Pretty much all activities are pre-planned, everything is very well organised and plenty of relaxing time to enjoy the local atmosphere!”

AND FINALLY…ANY SURPRISES?

“The biggest  positive and the most surprising thing to come out of this trip for me was the lasting friendships and how much you can see and do in such a short time!”
