Do you live, breathe and dream chocolate? So do we. That’s why we’ve compiled this list of the hottest European spots to satisfy all your chocolate cravings and then some. If you’ve got a chocolate addiction, best look away now…

Venchi Chocolate, Milan

It’s not often that chocolate gets featured in a real-life art installation. For Venchi chocolate, it happened in 2007, and they’ve since gained status as one of the worlds best house of chocolatiers. Venchi is best known for their Piedmont hazelnut filling, which is made into a nougatine or spreadable cream. But the real star of the show is their selection of unique chocolate gelatos, which you can enjoy while perusing the architecture of Venchi’s next door neighbour, the 600-year-old Duomo of Milan.

Neuhaus Belgian Chocolate, Brussels

Who could even set foot in Belgium without eating enough Belgian chocolate to put you into a coma? Since 1857, the talented chocolatiers at Neuhaus have been crafting traditional Belgian praline, with a recipe specific to the region. Head there in the summer to check out their creative summer fruit editions with pineapple and strawberries. Make sure to bring space in your bag for souvenirs (or snacks for later)…
