Hold onto your camembert, because Sydney is getting it’s very own European cheese festival this October! If we didn’t already have you at cheese, how would you feel if we told you it was free?
On October 14 and 15, Bon Fromage will transform Sydney’s Carriageworks into a yellow dairy wedge lovers dream. From 11am to 6pm each day the site will become a cheese dedicated marketplace offering delicious morsels from France and other European cheesy hot spots.
Besides the chance to chow down on cheese for zero dollars and buy some to take home and enjoy later, there will also be masterclasses from Sydney’s favourite cheese retailers (p.s. how do we get a job there?) on how to identify different varieties, draw a fondue bath (dare we ask) and match the right cheese to wine. You’ll surely walk away being able to tell your Bucheron from your Chabichou.
