There’s A Beauty And The Beast Cruise Coming To Europe

A beautiful castle stands on top of a hill in a forest.

If you’re thinking there must be more to this provincial life, you are 100% right because Disney are launching the cruise of your dreams, specifically a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ themed adventure down The Rhine.

The real MVPs that are the brains at Disney confirmed that the iconic movie is getting a themed cruise that stops at key locations throughout France, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Floating past the stunning vistas, dark forests and quaint villages, the eight day tour will show you the real-life inspiration behind the fairytale. One of the stops is the picturesque French town of Riquewihr, which with its cobblestones and colourful shuttered buildings, will have you checking behind you for Gaston and Le Fou.

And seeing the sights of The Beast and Belle’s realm is just the beginning; you’ll also get far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and a prince in disguise! Wait… sorry, scrap that, you’ll also get unique experiences inspired by the movie. Think macaron baking classes (where you can sing ‘Be Our Guest’ to your hearts content), horse riding through the Black Forest (minus the wolves nipping at your heels) and even see how cuckoo clocks are traditionally made (Maurice would love you).

If that STILL hasn’t satisfied your inner Disney addict, there will also be opportunities to dress up in Beauty and the Beast fashion for on-board dinners and watch showings of the OG and new live-action movies.
