Arrive AthensAfter checking in to your hotel, the day is yours to take a sneak preview of Athens before meeting your Tour Representative and fellow travellers this evening at the hotel. After your meeting, maybe join us in the traditional Plaka area for dinner - a great way to kick off your tour!
Athens to OlympiaWe begin today with a sightseeing tour of Athens including the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Travelling westward, we pause at Corinth to view the impressive canal before arriving at the Palace of Agamemnon at Mycenae where you can walk through the Gate of the Lions and see the sinister beehive tomb. Our day's journey continues past the Acronafplion Citadel and ends in Olympia this evening.
Olympia to DelphiThis morning join our local guide as we visit the temples of Hera and Zeus, and the site of the Olympic stadium where the games were first held in 776BC. Later, we cross the Corinthian Gulf and drive to Delphi, the sacred town of antiquity.
Delphi to AthensVisit the site of Delphi, see the Temple of Apollo and the Treasury. A short drive to Athens for another evening in the capital before starting your island cruise.
Athens to MykonosThis morning we leave Athens and board our cruise ship to head to Mykonos - island of whitewashed houses and blue domed churches.
PatmosWe dock this morning at the port of Kusadasi. Explore the local bazaar or perhaps take an excursion to the ancient ruins of Ephesus. Returning to the ship around lunch time, we sail for Patmos where St John is reputed to have written the book of Revelation. Time to explore this small island before rejoining the ship.
SantoriniDrop by Crete, the largest of these Islands, en route to the quintessential Greek island, Santorini, world famous for its simple blue and white buildings, spectacular island sunsets, and breathtaking natural scenery. Climb twisting stone steps, ride a donkey or catch a cable car up to a cliff-top town, like Fira. Or boat ride out to the volcanic island, Nea Kameni.
