Itinerary

  1. Day Icon-day1 London to Edinburgh (or meet in Edinburgh)

Get the New Year party started as we make our way to the world’s biggest New Year celebration, Hogmanay! The Scottish really know how to put on a great show, and in the cool capital city of Edinburgh, this place really turns out all the stops for good times. We’ll jump on board your comfy coach where you can sit back & chill, watch some DVDs or chat to your travel buddies. We’ll make our way through England’s north & into Scotland. On arrival in Edinburgh we’ll head to the hostel where you’ll be staying for the next few nights. Or, if you’ve chosen to meet us in Edinburgh, on arrival make your way to the hostel to meet the rest of the tour group who have opted to travel on the coach from London. Get yourselves ready to go, then it’s time to get the 4 day celebration started. We’ll take an orientation walk of the city so you can get your bearings, then head to a local watering hold to let the awesome times begin!

  2. Day Icon-day2 Edinburgh - New Year's Eve

Enjoy a late start this morning, then head out to experience this awesome city. Take a stroll down Prince’s Street, head up & down the Royal Mile & get some pics outside (or take a tour of) Edinburgh’s famous castle. You could don some ice skates & head to the festive ice rink, or spend some time at Winter Wonderland on the rides, or do as the Scottish do & give some haggis a go. Tonight, grab your included ticket & get ready for the world’s biggest New Year party. With bars & street parties pimped for amazing times, there’s so much to see & explore so grab your mates & some drinks & get amongst it! On the strike of 12 the crown goes wild, so be prepared to grab the nearest people around you for a New Years hug or a kiss (if you’re lucky!)

  3. Day Icon-day3 Edinburgh - New Year's Day

Take the day to chill, or if you’re up for it, head over to South Queensferry to check out the Loony Dook – a 25 year old tradition where hundreds of punters donning crazy costumes jump in the freezing waters of the Firth of Forth. It’s not just for fun either (or to cure a sore head) – all the money raised helps to support local charities. If you feel like something different you could always opt to head over the famous Forth Bridge to Stirling to see the famous castle and hear of the legend of William Wallace of Braveheart, or simply get back out & revel in the party atmosphere until the ‘wee’ hours.

  4. Day Icon-day4 Edinburgh to London (or end Edinburgh)

After breakfast it’s time to say farewell to Scotland as we jump back on the coach & make our way back to London. Take time to chill, get some much needed sleep or just chat with your travel buddies about the awesome times over the last 4 days. It’s time to swap numbers & emails, your Hogmanay adventure ends on arrival back in London. If you’ve opted to start & end in Edinburgh, your tour ends after breakfast this morning.
