charging cameras etc on a camping tour

7 Nov 2012 BrookemarleySA asked

hi guys im looking at taking the easy rider tour in 2014, I know it says you can charge cameras ec on the bus. does this mean there is only a couple of powerpoints on the bus or plenty for everyone? as im thinking i will have a camera, a video camera, a phone etc and im assuming otheres will also have more than one device to keep charged.
thanks for your help :-)

Hey there’s about 10 plug holes on the bus, and some people bring power boards which triples the amount of spaces which I highly recommend taking since there’s 50 people on a tour!

thanks very much I usually take a power board with me overseas as I have my phone and two cameras (SLR and waterproof) so much easier to charge them all at once
thanks very much for the advice :-)

I like bringing a pocket size 4 port USB hub as well so you can split off one outlet for multiple phones regardless if they are using an North America, Aussie, Euro, or UK plug. Also with the camping trips there are usually cabin upgrades often and it is a great place to charge up as well.
