I am Akaalpreet Kaur, a young woman who is driven by her eagerness to share with the world what she captures, aka, the photographs I take of the beautiful moments around me. I moved to Toronto, Canada in the August of 2021 from Haryana, India at the age of 19 and have been on a whole new journey ever since. I live on my own and explore the city before and after work. Coming from a family where women are not really encouraged to travel alone, I have seriously been deprived of it. Scrolling through travel related pictures and videos on social media such as instagram and pinterest during the first quarantine period made me realise what I really wanted, to explore the whole damn world for its beauty, people and UNIQUE FOOD. Hence, that's exactly what I plan to do. I am currently studying Tourism - Global Tourism Business at Seneca College and sharing what I discover around the city.
