I'm a Structural Engineer from South Africa with a passion for all things travel and food related. I run a food and travel blog called "Get In My Belly". My first ever international travel experience was a 28 day European Contiki Trip with my sister in 2010. I thought this trip would tame my immense love for travel, however it only inspired me to travel further and explore even more locations. I've been fortunate enough to continue with an annual international trip every year since my Contiki trip (barring two years- thanks Covid). I love exploring new places, meeting different people and eating local food. Nothing broadens your horizons quite like travel.
