Community Contributor

Ever since I was 16 and participated on an exchange program to Germany, I have been interested in culture and learning about the world. Since then I have volunteered in underprivileged communities in Vietnam, worked in a remote heli-skiing lodge, visited countless cultural festivities around the world, spent 3 weeks inside the Grand Canyon, and lived abroad in Canada for 7 years. I have now relocated back to Melbourne. In my personal life as well as my career, I am known as the planner. When I am not on an adventure, I am probably planning one and talking about it to get others on board. I have worked in sales and marketing for the last 10 years, have a degree in Business Management (Tourism), and I have a passion for story telling and opening up the world to people. Travel is important because it enables us to build tolerance, problem solving skills, communication skills, and ultimately broaden our horizons so that we can view the world with more empathy, gratitude, and understanding. With 45 countries under my belt, I still have a never ending bucket list.
