As I sit down and reflect - the big question is always so complex. In my short life, I've experienced things that would qualify as life-changing. I'm a military child, a middle child, a young black woman, and an academic scholar. Growing up, I've always viewed the world as this big beautiful place with so much to offer; from the young age of 5, I found a heart-felt love for street lights, sunsets, small animals, and laughter. Being a military child gave me the opportunity to travel and experience all walks of life - different traditions, cultures, and beliefs. And, since then my one motivation in life is to never be stagnant. Experience the beauty in the unknown, don't live in fear. And, I think that's what is pushing me to even put in my application today. I want to experience the world - I want to be the reason people feel influenced to dive into different cultures, learn English, push to visit different parts of the world; I want to be a positive impact. My motivation is knowing I've only discovered 3/4 of the world, and I can one day say I've traveled to multiple countries and met some of the most amazing people possible.
