Travel is what inspires me to look forward to the future. I find I am the happiest when I am immersing myself in different cultures, experiencing new and beautiful places, and meeting people of backgrounds completely unlike my own. I am from a cozy city in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Staunton, Virginia is a very uniform small town: quiet streets and friendly faces, only set apart by glorious rolling mountains that surround every side. Home is a comfort to return to, but I can't help but pursue adventure and allow curiosity to lead the way. I believe in travelling as an everyman, walking the streets and being a patron of the restaurants and businesses that only the locals frequent. On those streets lifelong friends are made, connections that never could've been made from the confines of a resort. I've found that travel is best when I leave home at home, and eagerly explore the unknown.
