I am an Arkansan by birth but have lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for more than thirty years with my husband Jeff. (We were college sweethearts) We are childless by choice. I’m an attorney for the State of Louisiana. (I do appellate work, so pretty much write for a living.) I love music, food, fashion, color, water, (particularly of the clear blue-green variety) sunshine, stars, animals, people and the outdoors. Though my travel history may beg to differ, travel is EVERYTHING. It is my number one priority moving forward towards retirement. After a decade of personal challenges and tremendous loss, and in the midst of grappling with an aging body and mind, it has recently become clear to me that my very happiness and well-being depend on it!
