Welcome to Bangkok fellow globe roamers, where a glorious adventure of Asia exploration lies ahead of us. After checking into our swanky hotel you may wish to do some DIY exploring, grab a massage or just lie by the pool soaking up those sweet Thai rays. Later the group will join forces to hear what's in store for the trip, then the night is yours. Maybe take to the streets for some authentic pad thai and eye-popping nightlife, or jump in a tuk-tuk and hit the buzzy Patpong Night Market, with its neon lights and vibrant street life.

There's nothing like getting some local transport to keep things interesting, so we'll pop into a boat along the River Kwai where we'll reach our home for the night, the The Jungle Raft Hotel, Kanchanaburi. Rooms lit by candle light are what you'll be greeted with, followed by a delicious included dinner of local specialities at dusk. You can even jump in the river directly from your room. Amazing! The tour wasn’t what I expected and wasn’t very enjoyable for anyone whose sole focus was partying.

My Contiki experience was like no other trip I have done before. I did the 27 day IndoChina Adventure with our guide Talia and I cannot explain how much of an incredible experience and life changing journey that was. Talia had made my trip with her energy and character and definitely brought every group that joined together as a family. I will definitely do a Contiki again in the future. #noregrets #contikitalia

This was an amazing trip. We saw all of the main highlights in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, & Vietnam. Vietnam was beautiful, the night we spent on Halong Bay watching the sunset was by far my favorite of the night. This trip was a great way to meet and travel with other people my age. The best part is all of our travel and accommodations are taken care of. It takes a lot of the stress of traveling away from you. In all would highly recommend this trip. Truly the trip of a lifetime.

Good trip and packed many things into it perhaps too many temples but I suppose that goes with the region. The solo traveller supplement fee however does seem a little high
