Contiki was a great trip because they squeezed in so much with the amount of time the trip was, but not feeling so rushed. There are a lot of things that are not included so make sure you check that out before you pay. The tour guides are super enthusiastic with lots of information and advice for further travel also. Accommodation was a mixture of everything such as hotels, hostels, camping. I feel the group sizes are too big though - maximum 20/25 would be perfect. A group of 50 meant that either not everybody got the same experience and it was very touristy moving around as a 'herd'. Also there was quite a bit of drinking involved but that was more down to the ages of people on the tour, and not organised like this by the tour manager.

The trip itself is incredible value for money! The accommodation was always good (Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays was a huge highlight) with breakfast included everywhere (sometimes cooked by our very own Contiki team). There are so many inclusions- more on this one than on any other Contiki I have done previously. I could never have organised the same trip for myself at that price. The Me-Time Optionals are so well-organised and thought out, always at a competitive price. Our tour managers were amazing at organising the optionals and ensuring that they fit into our day and that we could sign up for them with friends for added enjoyment.
